Airing on the CBS television network, The Unicorn stars Walton Goggins, Rob Corddry, Michaela Watkins, Omar Miller, Maya Lynne Robinson, Ruby Jay, Makenzie Moss, and Devin Bright. Following the loss of his wife, Wade (Goggins) is now the single parent to their adolescent daughters, Grace (Jay) and Natalie (Moss). With the encouragement of his kids and close friends like Forrest (Corddry), Delia (Watkins), Ben (Miller), and Michelle (Robinson), Wade decides to try dating again. To his amazement, Wade is told that he’s considered a hot commodity in the dating world and the perfect single guy, aka a “unicorn”. Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew The Unicorn for season three? Last season, CBS cancelled two sitcoms (Carol’s Second Act and Man with a Plan) but kept The Unicorn which had only slightly better ratings. The Unicorn’s ratings didn’t improve in year two but it’s produced by CBS Studios and the network hasn’t produced any breakout sitcoms this season. So, I think there’s a good chance the show will be renewed. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on The Unicorn cancellation or renewal news.
5/16/21 update: The Unicorn has been cancelled by CBS.

What do you think? Were you hoping that The Unicorn TV show would be renewed for a third season? Are you sorry that CBS cancelled this TV series, instead?
Wade was miscast as a unicorn. A misfit, maybe…. Seriously, what had potential quickly went off the rails.
This was one of our FAVORITE shows. In a world of doom and gloom and sadness this was a bright spot of smiling and happiness! So so sorry to see this show end when we all need to smile
Sad. It was a great show. Loved the unusual characters.
I love The Unicorn, please renew it.We have already lost MoM please don’t take The Unicorn away. It is an awesome show and deserves to keep going 🙂
Please renew the Unicorn for a 3rd season and for many more after that.I love this show and I’m getting sick and tired of the shows I really liked getting canceled. Especially when there’s no warning!
Please renew this show! It’s how you will keep me watching your lineup. If it goes, I do too.
Renew it. Love it a lot more than Al. Ugh
Please get Walton Goggins in a show or film with a character that would give Boyd Crowder a run for his money. This sweet little sitcom belongs in the 1960s. If Goggins is happy, I hope the series does well, but the ratings are low for a reason. Walton deserves better writing and this show is depriving his fans of seeing his talent.
Is the Unicorn still on Channel 11? Has the time slot been changed as of April 2021? Love the show and content of single dad with two girls, good neighbors and friends. Healthy show for family
Renew the show!! It is funny and honest!!! Refreshing!!
Love the Unicorn, you need to have a season 3!!!
I love The Unicorn, and have been watching it since day one. It’s well written, charming, relevant, and beautifully cast with characters ppl actually care about and are truly relatable. I love Walton Goggins as the lead Wade. He brings both joy and heartache to his portrayal of a still young widower, and the fact that The Unicorn takes place in the Carolinas is a plus for this Carolina gal. Please renew The Unicorn for a third season, and for many seasons to come. Thank you and God bless.
I guess Chuck Lorrie has some pull, but both Young Sheldon and BPositive are exceedingly unfunny ( ” What do you mean I’ve given up nothing, I gave up ecstacy !” ), while The Unicorn has quirky but realistic and funny characters. Hope it stays around.
“… exceedingly unfunny…” — peculiar phrasing, using a superlative adverb. An attempt to get readers to agree with you? There can be comedy without a word being spoken. E.G., in the ‘Young Sheldon’ episode when Sheldon and Missy are home alone after school for the first time, unwitting Missy sprays Meemaw in the face with a CO2 fire extinguisher – no dialogue, no slapstick, but Missy’s facial expressions are perfectly priceless. Only 2 other things have ever made me so loud and so long, EVERY time that I see them: 1) when Lennie Pike destroys Ray and Irwin’s Garage in… Read more »
More stories should focus on Wade and his female dates ….. too many storylines revolve around his 2 daughters and his 4 friends
this show is in life support and needs the plug pulled immediately. The characters are weak and “Wade” is dressed so poorly no one can ever stop laughing long enough to hear his lines and somehow he winds up with the hot chef who still live with her ex…
I don’t care how Wade is dressed. The characters are interesting. Its an ok show and should probably stay.
Change the channel..there are many of us that love it.
