What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Yes, by all means RENEW The Village. It’s a great show with promising storylines. Much better than some other shows that remain.
I definitely agree, very promising storylines, would like to see where they go with it. Shows are often pulled too quickly. I believe The Village should definitely be renewed, I have enjoyed watching it every week and also discovered other family members who are also watching and really enjoy it as well.

This is a GREAT show and should be renewed. People need a chance to start watching your and binge it over the summer when their other TV shoes are on hiatus.
