Does the first season of The Village TV show on NBC feel like home to you? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Village is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of The Village season one episodes here. *Status update below.
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.
What do you think? Which season one episodes of The Village TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Should NBC cancel or renew The Village for a second season? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
*5/30/19 update: NBC has cancelled The Village TV show so it won’t return for a second season.

This was such a GREAT show!!! What happened?
It was refreshing, honest, and reality! Not another repeated talent show or Big Brother style, but an actually relatable reality comforting show. Like the old days where you watched a show that had story elements and an escape from your own reality that was complex and yet heartfelt and . It was about family and how we all deal with life and loving them no matter what. Something we all need to remember to work on. This is one to rethink!!
I enjoyed this show. Why would you cancel such a great progrm? I hate all the reality shows that are on TV.
I really liked this show. Bring it back, we need these kind of shows instead of shoot em up, violence, and lawyer dramas.
I loved The Village! I was looking forward to the 2nd season:-(
Bring it back! I loved The Village! Enough of those crazy reality shows that are so fake! The Village has real life story lines!
Another good show that was canceled! I guess if it’s not “reality” TV then it won’t last. This is why HBO and Showtime win awards and network TV is left out
I really enjoyed the village was looking forward to season 2 very disappointed
This was one of the best tv shows!!!! Why it wasn’t brought back is ridiculous!!!
I hate it was cancelled!!!
I feel NBC should listen to their viewers before canceling any show. So tired of reality shows, live dramas but seems I’ve gotten so involved in many of the dramas on nbc to have them cancelled. About to stop watching any of the new ones because of this. The Village was good, so was Enemy Within.
This was my favorite show on t.v. I was in love with it the first time I saw it. Finally, a show w/substance. Showed real life characters. I loved the older married couple. Was very inspiring to me to see such a happy marriage. Not enough shows like this one!! You must bring it back and give it a huge chance. I just know it will be successful. You consistantly end shows w/o giving them more time. Or try a different time slot earlier in evening. I just cannot believe you canned this show & kept some of the other… Read more »
I ABSOLUTELY loved this show….so much I want to move into that building!!! As the saying goes ~ “The Show must go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVED THIS SHOW!!! It was always lovingly put together. Story lines were great and actors were perfect. Bring it back.
