Someone knows a good thing when they’ve got it. AMC has renewed The Walking Dead TV show for a 10th season. The early season 10 renewal comes with eight more episodes to go in the ninth season. TWD‘s new showrunner Angela announced the renewal with a promo video. The video indicates The Walking Dead season 10 will premiere in October of this year. Check it out, below.

The Walking Dead: A Look at the Ratings
The ninth season of The Walking Dead is averaging a 2.03 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.23 million viewers. Compared to season eight, that’s down by 40% and 33%, respectively. Still, The Walking Dead remains the top rated among AMC TV shows.

I thought end of season 9 was the series finale. So glad it’s not, I’m a huge fan. What happened? I was upset when it went off.
I watched this show from the start, spent hours catching up when we missed an episode. It was a fun thing for my adult children and I to do on Sunday night, after S8 everyone lost interest and we find something else to watch on our Sunday nights. Please let this show end with dignity.
This show has been so good since Angela took place as the show runner now, it’s back from the dead for sure.
It’s time to wrap this up. It’s a joke show at this point. Every episode is a stupid romantic soap opera with a few dumb zombies staggering around in the background.
I have loved The Walking Dead since the commercial for it first aired. A zombie television show was a dream come true! I have watched and loved every episode. I will never give up on TWD. I never want it to end. Do not ever cancel this show. I am a fan for life!
I HAVE LOVED THE WALKING DEAD FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, NOW THAT ALL OF THE MAIN CHARTERS ARE ALMOST GONE, IT IS TIME FOR IT TO COME TO AN END. I AM SURE THAT THE PRODUCERS AND WRITER’S CAN COME UP WITH A NEW HORROR SHOW FOR US TO FALL IN LOVE WITH, JUST LIKE TWD. THANKS FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL YEARS, BUT IT IS TIME FOR ME TO GO TO SOMETHING ELSE.
I truly believe that it’s time for the stiffs to crawl back into there graves and give this show there a rest. its days are over.
Shoot it in the head it’s dead it just doesn’t know it yet? It been a great show but without a he lead it just isn’t the ssme.
this show is going from a HE show to a KID becoming the NEW leader of the OVER THE HILL GANG show.
You definitely haven’t seen season 9 . . .
So what is wrong with a female lead? If that’s all it takes for you to not like a show, then you need to reevaluate your morals. A story can be just as great, and sometimes better with a female lead.
