Although the clock is ticking, NBC still has not announced whether Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan’s Timeless is cancelled or renewed for season three. The Timeless fanbase, which often self-identifies online as #Clockblockers, has been campaigning hard for a season three renewal, despite the TV show’s low ratings in the second season. That season only happened thanks to the fans. When NBC cancelled Timeless, after its freshman outing, there was such an outcry that the network then reversed itself and renewed the series.
Today, knowing the fans feel as bloodied and battered as Wyatt (Matt Lanter), Lucy (Abigail Spencer), and Flynn (Goran Višnjić) look in the above photo, the writers acknowledged the long wait on their official Twitter account. They also made sure to thank fans for their hard push for a third season pick up. Check out their messages, below.
An NBC time-travel drama, Timeless also stars Malcolm Barrett, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. As the Time Team, their mission is to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. Susanna Thompson, Annie Wersching, and Michael Rady recur in season two as members of the nemesis organization, Rittenhouse.

UPDATE: We know it's frustrating to our fans to not have an answer yet re: #RenewTimeless. We've been led to believe a couple times that an answer was imminent only to have answer pushed. Unsure if that's good/bad. Just know we're fighting hard for #Timeless.

Please renew. This show has a wonderful cast and great storyline that encourages you to revisit your history. Maybe a time slot change and more advertising do people knowit’s the.
Perhaps one reason Season 2 had low ratings was the lack of advertising and notice given to it. I’m a big fan of the show and I didn’t even realize it had restarted. I’m now watching it all on On Demand, and am already grieving that this great writing and fun/suspenseful show will probably not be renewed, so I’m getting invested again in the characters and story just to again be abandoned. And the studios wonder why viewers don’t commit to their shows!

The show is so educational and has endless stories to be told with all the crap out there please save TIMELESS
I think it’s a sign that bodes well for Timeless. NBC hasn’t cancelled yet so they must really be on the fence and seriously considering renewal. Or possibly they’re negotiating to sell the rights to another network. Either way I think there’s a good chance it’s coming back.
I do not have a Twitter account either, but that has nothing to do with the fun-filled, historic & addicting show, Timeless. I’ve watched from the beginning, now have my 78 year old Dad watching it and 3 of my kids (all in their 30’s). I love the history that is so very real as they travel through time. Sometimes my kids will pop up with “I didn’t know it happened that way!” which is so satisfying to hear because the Millenials have no freaking idea what History is all about. I do not have a twitter account…Please do not cancel Timeless. I believe if you would change the time slot and allow the younger generation to watch, you would fine more people would watch it. I usually watch it the next day on my NBC app through my cable provider. I have to get up early for work and staying up until 11 p.m. is too late. I honestly believe Timeless has a fan base. If NBC will not renew, why don’t the writers reach out to other networks. I would like the History channel would pick it up.

Please don’t cancel the show! It’s one of the best ones on TV right now and it’s not only entertaining but also educational. The show touched upon many topics and historical figures that I didn’t know much about and now I’m learning a lot. Definitely a wise use of my time spent on the couch. LOL
This show is the reason tv has been worth watching. Too much reality TV, if I want reality I’ll step outside my front door. This show is highly entertaining and informative (heaven forbid people enjoy learning, as well). Keep it going. RENEW THIS SHOW!! It is great.
