HBO has ordered a new science fiction thriller television series called Westworld, based on the 1973 feature film of the same name. The show’s ensemble includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Miranda Otto, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan and Simon Quarterman.

Loved the original movie Westworld. Didn’t they approach the original actors, with the exception of Yul Brynner, of course, to take parts in this?
I realize that James Brolin died in the movie version but there’s always Richard Benjamin (who is also a great actor)? If they’re shooting for older actors, and the ones listed certainly are, why not Benjamin? Or am I being ridiculous?
Ok, in any case YES, I will tune in to see this.
