It’s official. Deadline reports the ABC TV show Whiskey Cavalier will not be returning for a second season after all.
The drama series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Scott Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world. The cast also includes Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins.
Last week, we reported that ABC was considering bringing Whiskey Cavalier back for a second season after cancelling it earlier this month. Now, it series creator David Hemingson has confirmed this will not be the case. Whiskey Cavalier will remain cancelled:

Sorry ABC, I guess I will go back to not watching your network. Have not watched anything since Once Upon A Time. Don’t get me started on that season 7 “reboot”.
Whiskey cavalier is an excellent show. Typical ABC decision just like with last man standing, they don’t get what people like. No wonder CBS is always number one. I’m surprised ABC is even rated as a network. Try to get your act together and maybe I’ll try you out again. For now, you have nothing I want to watch. Well done, (that’s sarcasm since I doubt you’ll recognize it with your heads so far in the sand)
I loved this show! Please bring it back! It was exciting and fun to watch! The characters were wonderful and chemistry between actors was great! Please bring it back! Make it a summer show or some other season!
I enjoyed the show. The characters were unique and blended well together. Dissapointed they are canceling.

I love this show! Why do they always do this, they give us a show with great characters, get us hooked and then they just take it away ☹️makes me mad
despite the show being the same old CIA FBI stuff, it was unique in by itself and i really hope they find a new home for it.
My wife and I loved it. great chemistry among cast and fun scripts in great locations. just wasted it in a poor time slot as usual

No reason to watch ABC anymore. Whiskey Cavalier was the only thing worth watching on that network.
