As of the series premiere of the Whiskey Cavalier TV show, all of the ABC television network’s returning programming is down in the Nielsen ratings, over last year, and none of its freshman offerings are an unqualified hit (save The Conners which is really the Roseanne revival’s second season). Can this new action-action adventure series improve the fortunes of the Alphabet Network? Will Whiskey Cavalier be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
An ABC spy drama, with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. Whiskey Cavalier is such a well done show. Please don’t cancel…it is well written and has great characters!!! One of the best new shows on TV.
Where did everyone go after week 2? Everyone decided to watch because they announced the show was bring cancelled? This is why the show needs to be cancelled. You can’t watch for 3 weeks(and none of those weeks were over a 1.0) and then scream bloody murder. A bunch of spoiled little babies.
I’m sorry but abc you suck. Whiskey Cavalier great show but cancelled. Cast was great plot very good. Action and adventure plot twist it had it all. Not to much but enough to keep up with and you idiots cancelled it. I don’t know why people even watch tv. Guess I’ll go back to Netflix or prime or he’ll both. Better than reg tv.
Again, another of TV’s great and entertaining shows – with terrific engaging actors, writers & production – cancelled while horrible and dull ones stay on the air! Get this show back on TV and this family will follow it!

I agree Whiskey Cavalier is a great show, all the characters have great chemistry, the show is exciting and funny at the same time with plenty of action and the whole dynamic of the show is amazing. I would rather watch this then dancing shows, bachelor shows, reality tv shows and the like. Whiskey Cavalier is a great show so please bring it back.
