Nickelodeon had a big hit with their Every Witch Way TV show but the cable channel decided to cancel the telenovela series after four seasons. That led to a spin-off series, WITS Academy, but now that show’s been cancelled as well.
WITS Academy follows “Guardian in training” Andi Cruz (Daniela Nieves) at the esteemed school for Witches and Wizards in Training. While trying to live up to expectations, she must get two of the academy’s toughest students to graduate. The rest of the cast includes Julia Antonella, Jailen Bates, Kennedy Lea Slocum, Meg Crosbie, Timothy Colombos, Ryan Cargill, Andrew Ortega, Lidya Jewett, Tyler Perez, Jazzy Williams, and Todd Allen Durkin.
The series debuted last October and ran daily for four weeks. The 20 episodes attracted about 1.3 million viewers and remained pretty consistent. Those numbers weren’t apparently good enough for Nickelodeon to order a second season.
The cable channel has been mum on the cancellation but castmember Durkin has not. He posted a photo from his new series on TBS and responded to follower questions asking if he was shooting season two of WITS.
He wrote, “it’s another TV show I’m doing. Wits was canceled. There is no more Wits.”
Durkin continued, “there’s no way there will be another season at this point. Nickelodeon has decided not to have another season of Wits Academy. It’s the end. Sad but true. Done. … No more Andi, Agamemnon, Cameron… All over. The end. Bye bye.”
So, it turns out that the two-part episode on October 30th will be the last episode of the series. Hopefully, the writers and producers will share how the cliffhangers would have been resolved.

I really liked this show, I started watching every witch way till the Wits academy and I enjoyed. I cannot believe we will no longer have the Wits academy, but nobody will ever forget about the show Wits academy and the cast.
I loved the show its so sad to see the beginning of every witch way all the way to ending in wits academy. Its so sad to see it go but we will remember it and think back to the good times.

I think they should keep going on with the show and seasons.The show should not be canceled.I love Wits Academy and so do my friends and my cousins I also love Every witch way and it was good the made another show that kind of counties every wich way cause the last episode of season 4 made me so sad I was sad for months I still even watch every witch way and season 1 of wits academy the show can’t end like this I think wits academy should continue to even season 8 or 9 they can’t cancel wits… Read more »
Please renew the show but not on Nick,Nick sucks and doesn’t deserve WA(Wits Academy). It’s an awesome show so is Every Witch Way. We would love if you renew it or renew EVERY WITCH WAY PLEASEEE.. We actually want Daniel and Emma together, Jax ruined the show. Anyway please renew it. One of them at least please we’re begging you all, we love your shows btw!

Wits Academy is one of my FAVORITE SHOWS. At the beginning of Every Witch Way I didn’t like then at season 3 I watched some of the episodes than after that I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SHOW (and watch till the beginning). When it ended I cried into tears so hard. I was so happy when Wits Academy was coming. And then the season was over with a Huge cliffhanger. I don’t get into TV shows like I did WITS Academy. I literally BURST into tears when I heard season 2 was cancelled!! Andy was my favorite character. I LOVE THIS SHOW! Please, please do something about this! 1.3 WATCHERS?!? I WAS ONE OF THEM! I always told my friends to watch it, and I told them how good it was. I’m very VERY disappointed! Can you guys POSSIBLY find a new channel to do your show? That’s probably asking A LOT! But those 1.3 Viewers and I would DEEPLY APPRECIATE IT!

wits academy is the best, i only just started watching it but love it soooooo much. it is cruel, dispicable, evil and inhumane to cancel such a show. i love it so much and they left it on a cliffhanger with the new evil caretaker, ruby saying that the wasn’t the last of her and Andi and Lukes relationship and i alo want to know who will get Ruby’s wits next time around, maybe Samantha could come back. This is so stupid. I was looking forward to a second season and more to find out what happens but then they cancel the show. They should bring it back. It’s just not fair for Nickelodeon to do this to us.
