What’s This TV Show About?
A procedural airing on the FOX television network, 9-1-1 stars Angela Bassett, Connie Britton, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, and Rockmond Dunbar. The scripted drama, inspired by real-life experiences, centers on the police officers, firefighters, and paramedics who risk their lives to save others. No matter how frightening, dangerous, and shocking a situation may be, these first responders rush toward crises from which others flee.
Season One Ratings

On January 16, 2018, 9-1-1 was renewed for a second season which will debut on September 23, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with positive numbers, it is still too soon to use the ratings to predict whether FOX will cancel or renew 9-1-1 for season two. Considering its noteworthy cast, flying blind, I expect it to snag a second season. Since that’s just speculation, I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page as more data rolls in.
