Patrick Heusinger is heading to AXN. Deadline reports the Casual star has joined the network’s new TV series Absentia.

From Matt Cirulnick, the thriller drama centers on an FBI agent who is found in a cabin in the woods years after mysteriously disappearing. Stana Katic stars as the agent in question.

Heusinger will play the lead character’s husband, an FBI agent who has remarried after his wife’s disappearance but who still has feelings for her. AXN has already ordered 10 episodes of Absentia. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
