Eileen is looking for more than just redemption in the first season of the Alaska Daily TV show on ABC. As we all know, Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Alaska Daily is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Alaska Daily here. *Status Update Below.
An ABC drama series, the Alaska Daily TV show stars Hilary Swank, Jeff Perry, Matt Malloy, Meredith Holzman, Grace Dove, Pablo Castelblanco, Ami Park, and Craig Frank. Eileen Fitzgerald (Swank) is an award-winning investigative journalist and high-powered newspaper reporter in New York. Her reporting methods and abrasive personality are called into question after a high-profile story blows up in her face, and Eileen loses her job. Her former mentor, Stanley Cornik (Perry), approaches her about making a big move, and she goes to work for a struggling downsized Anchorage newspaper, the Daily Alaskan. Grudgingly, Eileen teams up with a young local reporter named Roz Friendly (Dove). Together, they begin investigating the murders of a group of indigenous women. In a new locale, across the country, and in a very different world, Eileen is on a journey to find both personal and professional redemption.

Please renew Alaska Daily! Living in a state where indigenous peoples disappear, are murdered but never solved, this is an area that concerns me .
Alaska Daily is a quality show and it’s extremely disappointing that it would be cancelled. So many shows have no depth and it was refreshing to see one of substance. Enjoyed it immensely and having only one season of this gem is plain stupid. ABC really dropped the ball here and should absolutely bring it back! Probably one of their best shows ever!
Great show with depth of insight. It’s very hard to find a show that doesn’t fall in line with certain political views. Guess it’s a compliment that it’s been cancelled. But now, what do I watch? Guess it’s time to cancel all my subscriptions.
Quality television. Not the same old drivel. Smart, funny, thoughtful and emotional. We need more quality shows like this, not less.

Yet another good show canceled! When the # watching is counted do they include On Demand or Hulu viewers— doubt if. Shows used to be given a chance not anymore

Great characters with room to grow. Important, interesting storylines outside lower 48- something very different!! & that is good! Unusual & good!
This is an outstanding show which covers an important subject. Please renew so we can continue to follow the interesting, well written and brilliantly acted characters and follow more of the stories of the thousands of missing first nation women across Alaska.

I think alaska daily is one of the best shows to come out of abc in a while and would love to see another season
Alaska Daily is one of the few quality shows on Tv. The writing and acting are excellent. I will be very disappointed with network tv in general if this show is cancelled.
Alaska Daily is one of the few shows that has an important story line and is entertaining. Renew it, please!
