As hard as it may be to believe, it looks like cancelled soaps All My Children and One Life to Live may really be revived as online shows.
According to Deadline, Prospect Park has signed deals with the SAG-AFTRA and DGA unions for the shows’ production. The status of talks with the WGA are unclear and Prospect Park has declined to comment.
Preliminary discussions with castmembers of All My Children and One Life to Live have begun. It’s expected that production on the online versions of the soap operas will begin in the first quarter of 2013.
What do you think? Do you think the soaps will actually be revived this time?
Please bring them back..at least I knew what I was doing and something to look forward to between 12 and 3… AMC…OTL….GH…OMG What a trio….
i do not see any shows on channel 7 everything is boring like the chew
Oh yes, PLEASE! AMC was part of my life, they were family for over 35 years. I miss them – a tiny hole in my ABC noontime life. Please bring them back. I will be there!!
Please, please, please let this be true for AMC and OLTL. I have not watched ABC daytime, local, or prime time since they cancelled my soaps. I even stopped watching GH, because I felt they were going to cancel that soap also. I truly hope this rumor is true. I miss Erica, and please rescue Victor from that lunatic. Thank you Prospect Park.
Please bring it back, AMC was the best soap opera, watched over 35 years. Now I don’t even watch anything on channel 7, a very boring station with no substance, just dumb reality tv and even some of there comedy is much to be desired.
I hope it comes true!!!
