What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the OWN cable channel, the All Rise TV show stars Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Ruthie Ann Miles, Lindsay Mendez, Lindsey Gort, and Marg Helgenberger. Samantha Marie Ware, Paul McCrane, and Suzanne Cryer recur. The series follows the chaotic, hopeful (and sometimes absurd) world of those who work at a courthouse in Los Angeles. At the center of this drama series is Lola Carmichael (Missick), an appointed judge who was previously a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney. She depends on the counsel of people like her best friend, Deputy District Attorney Mark Callan (Bethel), Judge Lisa Benner (Helgenberger), and pragmatic judicial assistant Sherri Kansky (Miles). She works with professionals like public defender Emily Lopez (Camacho), bailiff-turned-public defender Luke Watkins (Brinson), court reporter Sara Castillo (Mendez), defense attorney Amy Quinn (Gort), law clerk Vanessa “Ness” Johnson (Ware), Judge Jonas Laski (McCrane), and Deputy District Attorney Maggie Palmer (Cryer). Lola pushes the boundaries and challenges the expectations of what a judge can be and receives both support and pushback from those around her.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of All Rise averaged a 0.03 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 279,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings (includes all DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are usually renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. As an All Rise fan. Im getting exhausted waiting and waiting. I have just about lost interest in the show. Either broadcast the show, or dont. All Rise brought me to the OWN network, and its about to make me go away.
So many other shows are debuting, I dont have the energy to try and fit it back in my viewing schedule.
Seems to me, All Rise is failing because the OWN Network refuses to produce episodes. TTFN
Renew, renew, renew!!!!!! Awesome series.
I love the clever banter between the characters on this show, but I especially like the multi-ethnicity of it. People of all races treating each other with dignity, respect, and friendship. For an hour a week, I get to live in the world I want to live in rather than the one I do. Please renew this show!
I was sad when this show was canceled. Then I found it on my Hulu & just binged all of season 3. My lord what a twist & turn. I’m hoping like crazy there’s a 4th season! To many cliffhangers! My mind is spinning! Lola got kissed by that crazy ex. Luke & Emily just said IU! Vanessa just passed her bar & was stabbed & lost all that blood! My husband and I were sad when I read CBS pulled the plug on them. Then I read Oprah’s network was going to show it Yeah. But now I’m not sure if and when it comes back we will tune in. The writers are sneaky and took Lola from a loving wife to a bit of a cheater. If the writers correct their mistake we might give it another try. Please correct this problem!
Please bring back All Rise
After watching season 3, I will never watch it again based on the last episode. Lola’s character would never have kissed Dre. Why they had her do that is just so unbelievable. The writers ruined the character.
All Rise is a great show. There are less and less positive black shows on TV of this Caliber. Please bring it back. Although, I recored it I love it. It should be brought back.
All Rise explores major issues with a bit of humor thrown in. What CBS lost, OWN won. A major plus. Please bring it back. One of the best series on TV.

If OWN cancelled All Rise, Opra Winfrey should get out of the business, cause All Rise was one the best program she had ever put on her channel. I tried watching those other shows, and I’m sorry they were horrible.
I would like to see a Fourth Season or an update of Season 3. All Rise touches all areas of the court room, this is a wonderful show. I hope we can enjoy more Seasons of All Rise
I hope that All Rise is renewed. It gives a good outlook on the judicial system. I enjoy the way the writers portray current issues in a discussion content to look at the why things are happening. I look forward to see season 4 and beyond. Trying to figure out how to input my rating.
