While CBS has plenty of procedural TV shows, the network doesn’t have any dramas that take place in a courthouse — until now. Enter the All Rise TV series. Does this legal drama have what it takes to survive to be a success in the ratings? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
The All Rise TV show follows the chaotic, hopeful (and sometimes absurd) world of those who work at a courthouse in Los Angeles. It stars Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Marg Helgenberger, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez, and Ruthie Ann Miles. At the center of this drama series is Lola Carmichael (Missick), a recently appointed judge who was previously a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney. She depends on the counsel of people like her Deputy District Attorney Mark Callan (Bethel), Supervisory Judge Lisa Benner (Helgenberger), and pragmatic judicial assistant Sherri Kansky (Miles). Lola pushes the boundaries and challenges the expectations of what a judge can be and receives both support and pushback from those around her.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly on the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/5 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the All Rise TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season on CBS?
*5/6/20 update: All Rise has been renewed for a second season.
I love this show. Please do NOT cancel this show!!!
I tried to like this show but the lady playing the judge is not very convincing as a judge!
Love this show please give it a second season to try over ALL REALITY tv
The show is fabulous! Please renew. Great cast!!
I love the show. I do think they messed up with the 2 broken wrists; not very realistic. I broke both my wrists similarly with 1 casted and the other splinter; I couldn’t get dressed myself for several weeks let alone carry pens, paper etc.
I love this show as well, hope it’s renewed for season 2!!!!!!
I love this show & seeing a fair black judge is what our community needs right now. Please don’t cancel. It gives us all hope
This is a fantastic tv show and I highly recommend keeping it on your network. It is a African judge with an all star diverse cast that shows love, friendship and most importantly diversity and challenges on how a judge rules for justice Only! I absolutely adore everything about this show. Today there isn’t another tv like this kudos to cbs network writers. Keep this show on tv. I look forward to what comes next.
Tried and tried to like it but gave up. Deleted last couple episodes and it is now permanently gone. What is with that stairwell thing?
well written well acted and definitely positive images being represented in a very natural way. kudos to Simone and the cast for the acting. wow is all i have to say about the natural way she portrays and educated woman who is aware of her world and the challenges it faces! very good writing as well. please come back!!!
Liked it at first but sooo very tired of her whining about losing her job. Boo hoo. Won’t watch any more
Oh my gosh!! I love this show!! I love Judge Carmichael. A judge that actually cares and great topics. Please renew for more seasons.
This is a great show. Very refreshing and each episode is covering a great topic. Lola and her crew are great. One of the best that CBS has had in a long time.
All Rise should definitely be continued. it is a breath of fresh air among some other really poor offerings. it is, in a word, EXCELLENT! well written, well executed. the best I have seen in several seasons. its a show for adults!
Positive, timely, upbeat!
