What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, American Housewife revolves around an average wife and mom, Katie (Katy Mixon). She does her best to stand out from the “perfect” housewives and their privileged children of Westport. Katie’s husband (Diedrich Bader) is a logical guy and supports her in every way he can, including working to ensure that their children (Meg Donnelly, Daniel DiMaggio, and Julia Butters) do not end up like everyone else in their neighborhood. Katie’s friends are played by Carly Hughes and Ali Wong.
Season One Ratings

Telly’s Take
With 10 hours of ABC’s schedule devoted to comedies, there’s a lot of pressure for the Alphabet Network execs to keep developing new sitcoms. They’ve had some misses but it appears that American Housewife isn’t one of them. The TV show is performing well in the ratings so I’m confident that it will be returning for season two.

I love American Housewife. The show is funny and more real than a lot of things on TV now. Also, Katy Mixon is fantastic. I would love it if the show has many more seasons.
I think this show is great. I look forward to watching it every week. It is refreshing to see characters play “real” people with an edge to them. Please keep this sit-com on. I will be very disappointed if you remove it from your line up. I always wTch it on demand if I miss it

This is my favorite show. Not only is it funny, but it shows adults how to raise their kids with morals and deciency. This is one of the best shows on tv right now. Please please renew.
this is such a disappointing show. I liked the woman who plays the mom when she was on Mike and Molly, so I thought this would be a good show. However, she’s just really rude and unlikable, and her children are weird. The husband is funny though. I don’t know why producers think they have to make the kids on these shows so odd.
Please renew this show! This is the best show out there. It is the only show that every week it will consistently make me laugh. Great actors & actresses & hands up to the writers of this show. Job well done. Great comedy seems to have disappeared through the years.Renew, renew, renew please!!!!

Yessssss Please don’t cancel. This show is so great and the mom is so real life reflective of a lot of real life women, wives, and mothers. It can’t get anymore real than this.
