After high school, both took trips on their own to Israel where they were drawn to an Orthodox lifestyle. As fate would have it, Vicki and Ben each moved to New York City for college and they wound up reconnecting at a charity event. They were initially drawn to each other because of their shared cultural understanding of Orthodox Judaism and after the approval of their parents; they began dating. In the Orthodox community, people don’t date unless they are beginning the process of getting married. After a few short dates, Ben and Vicki were arranged. Their families are thrilled that both are marrying within the faith, however their parents have expressed concerns about the suddenness of the arrangement and have some doubts as to whether or not they are ready for such a serious commitment. Adhering to Orthodox traditions, they are not permitted to touch, kiss or be alone prior to getting married.

Are you a fan of the Arranged TV show? Do you plan to watch the second season? Do you know know any couples in arranged marriages? Let us know, below.
Taylor doesn’t understand marriage or speaking with respect. She makes me want to change the channel.
Taylor is an immature spoiled brat. I literally start to have an anxiety attack every time she opens her mouth!
Wow! I cannot believe how Mayur treats Maneka. He has no respect for her and definitely is a bully. I don’t believe he even has the slightest insight on how to treat women. Maneka is now his wife, and will be the mother of his future children. How he treats his wife is how he will treat any daughter he is lucky to have. Mayur, is this how you treat your mother? What was shown on the show revealed his disregard for Maneka’s feelings. How selfish! Run, Maneka, run as fast as you can. You deserve someone who will treat… Read more »
I am not a fan of Mayur at all. He’s so cold and out of touch with his wife’s needs
I have never posted before but I am shocked at the hateful spewing that comes from Taylor. Wow. David I can’t believe your brother set you up with her. David I feel so sorry for you. One day you are not going to be able to hold it together. I am pretty sure I won’t be watching any longer.
David is not right for Taylor, she is mean and condescending. She always wants to be right and it and it is her way or no way not a very nice person David is too nice for her just my opinion
MAN UP…
David needs to wise up and man up!! He has to be seriously embarassed about staying with Taylor once she opened her disrespectful, spoiled mouth, then he married her!! Come on David, are you really that much of a ***** to let that beast you married talk to you the way she does, disrespect your mom as she does? I thought TEXAS MADE MEN, wake the hell up and run to a divorce lawyer and cut that ***** loose.
in simplest terms: mayur = chauvinist pig. He wants to be Indian ONLY when it’s in his benefit to slave his “wife”.
Mayur is proving to be horrible. I already feel bad for Maneka. Mayur is as bad as Christian last season, very immature, except Mayur is 36 years old. Run Maneka! Run!
I dislike Taylor very much, she is very rude to her husband and his mother. She starts things and than blames him for starting things. She complaints about his mom but her mom opiniates a lot also. What ever “advice” her mom gives her does not keep the peace. It only helps Taylor get more defensive. Don’t bring the Bible to defend you are before his mom. Bible also talks about the golden rule, Mat. 7:12 Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Ephesians 4:31. If you have no respect for each other including moms your… Read more »
Omg YES!!!! She’s such a pain in the butt!! If anyone’s still attached to the boob, it’s her! I just really wish David would stand up to her.
I completely agree with the previous text. Taylor is a spoilt disrespectful very arrogant person. She goes to church but does not follow the golden rule or anything else in the bible. She belittles her husband constantly.
I would get an annulment asap if it were me.
Why is Taylor such a pain?… She makes me so mad.. come on I thought southern women were better than that… She is just being a spoiled brat.. she is so mean to David and then when he reacts she forgets he pushed his buttons.. I hope she watches this back and see how badly she portrays herself
I am watching this season and am sad that Mayur does not treat Maneka well. He wouldn’t even practice the first dance for their wedding, and it meant so much to her! She is already leery about marriage after the first fail, and he hasn’t done a darn thing to reassure her that she is safe with him.
I just came to know about this shows. Is this channel on my TV COX What is the channel no. Thanks
Arranged is on the FYI channel
How do I watch the shows. thank you..
I was looking forward to seeing what happened to the other couples for season. Why are we only following up with Christen and Maria – did the other couples not make it?
Nothing against these couples, I just really looked forward to seeing what happened with Season One’s couples.,
Me too, season 1 couples were so interesting!
