The Canadian mystery drama centers on William Murdoch (Bisson) — a good-looking, innovative Toronto detective. Murdoch uses fingerprinting, UV Light, and trace evidence in his investigations. Working alongside him to crack the city’s grizzliest murders are pathologist Dr. Julia Ogden (Joy) and Constable George Crabtree (Harris) — Murdoch’s righthand man.

We have watched The Artful Detective from the beginning. We enjoy the references to future inventions and the tongue in cheek humor. The characters are great. I hope that it will be renewed.

Love love love this show!!! Can’t wait for new season!!! This is One of the best shows on TV now. It is engrossing, beautifully written, and in a time when most shows are full of filthy language and sexual innuendo, this is a show you can watch with your family. And, I love the time period and the clothes!!!
A masterpiece of a show. Ahead of its time in every way. I love every single episode and have seen them twice. Outstanding acting, costuming and a breath of fresh air with its great acting, chemistry, and intelligence.
My wife and I look forward to the new episodes every time they appear. One of the few good reasons for using a cable company and their DVR. It would be a terrible waste to cancel such a program.
Look forward to this series every year. Great to watch on cold winter night.
