What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Kattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, and Hisham Tawfiq. The crime drama centers on one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, Raymond “Red” Reddington (Spader). He offers to help the authorities, if rookie agent Elizabeth Keen (Boone) partners with him. In season five, Red is in the process of rebuilding his criminal empire with her at his side. Although she’s still working for the Feds, Liz finds the idea of indulging her criminal side rather tempting.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of The Blacklist averaged a 0.93 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.66 million total viewers. Compared to season four, that is down by 6% and up by 7%, respectively. Find out how The Blacklist stacks up against the other NBC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Once upon a time, The Blacklist was a breakout drama on the Peacock Network. Since then, the ratings have really dropped, but it was renewed for a fifth installment. Meanwhile, its spin-off, The Blacklist: Redemption was cancelled after just one season. The ratings have remained pretty steady for this show so I believe The Blacklist will be renewed for season six. I have been a steady watcher of the sitcom. I personally do not care for the story change of half sisters going after Reddington. Reddington knows her grandfather so it is not sitting well with thin coming into the open to save her. It is putting a very strange twist to a story which definitely had her half sister dealing with a ruthless killer. But somehow he is better then Reddington. This turn will not hold the audience. My all time favorite series. I have a hard time trying to anything good to watch on tv, and this show fills the void. Excellent cast and storylines, keeping me wanting more. I can’t wait until the next season, and many more to follow.
I think The Blacklist should continue, love the cast, love the storyline, this is a show that keeps you at the edge of your seat. Please keep this show going. IF NBC chooses to cancel it, I’m hoping Netflix takes them on to continue such a nail biting, sit at the edge of your seat kind of show along with the cast. PLEASE do not cancel this very good show.

PLEASE don’t cancel The Blacklist show, EVEN AFTER SEASON 6!! It’s one of the ONLY GREAT TV DRAMAS LEFT, unless you STILL THINK that Law and Order is not repetitive and boring! And, seriously, so-called “reality” tv shows are soooo 1990’s! It’s no wonder that no one watches TV much anymore. Big brother is still GREAT accept the celebrity shows, only noticed one out of 16 celebrities. (Has beens) need recent celebrities, that would me it more interesting. But still a good show all in all. Survivor is ok but scripted. Another show that was pretty good was ‘The Mole’ they should put that show back on lol…. but the Blacklist is a must stay in for sure it’s a nail bitting, sit at the end of your seat type of show. Love the storyline as well as the cast. Love them!

Don’t cancel…….. I love this show.
I really enjoy the The Blacklist over the years and all the characters in the show are excellent , the excitement always keeps you guessing what’s coming next the Raymond and Liz plays are brilliant in there roles so I very much hope it comes back for season 6 and many more after that .
I really have enjoyed the series. May it continue!!!
