The Reagan family dinners will continue. CBS has made a new deal with Tom Selleck and has renewed their Friday night drama, Blue Bloods, for a 10th season. In Fall 2019, the show will celebrate its 200th installment with its 10th season premiere.
A CBS police procedural, Blue Bloods stars Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, Sami Gayle, and Vanessa Ray. The family drama centers on the Irish-American Reagans, a multi-generational clan of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. New York Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Selleck) leads both the police force and his brood.

TOM SELLECK SIGNS NEW DEAL TO RETURN FOR SHOW’S 10TH SEASON
CBS announced today that BLUE BLOODS has been renewed for the 2019-2020 television season, and Tom Selleck has signed a new deal to return for the show’s 10th year on the network. The top-10 series will celebrate its 200th episode when the show premieres in fall 2019.
“BLUE BLOODS has been a top-10 drama and Friday’s top-rated show every year it’s been on the air,” said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. “On a night that many have claimed is quiet for broadcast television, its quality writing, superb acting and familial warmth have attracted an average of over 13 million passionate viewers each week for nine years. We are delighted that Tom will return and that the show will continue to be a vital component of the CBS schedule next season.”
BLUE BLOODS is currently the #8 most-watched show in all of broadcast television. It is also a digital success, and is the most-watched network drama on CBS’ digital platforms, including CBS All Access. The series premiered on Sept. 24, 2010, and has always maintained its position on Fridays at 10:00 PM.
BLUE BLOODS is the latest series pickup for CBS. The Network has also renewed YOUNG SHELDON, MOM, CRIMINAL MINDS, NCIS and the freshman hits FBI, GOD FRIENDED ME, THE NEIGHBORHOOD and MAGNUM P.I. for next season.

Glad this is renewed. Has had great writing all the way through. It’s currently running rings around Law and Order, a once great show crippled by one person’s massive ego.
Great show. Please keep it going as long as the actors want to do it. Especially love the family dinners and wonder how many families really have any family time any more.

I love, love, love Blue Bloods and cried with the news that it was leaving my Fridays bereft. It is a family show that tops all other so-called shows. I hope Jamie gets a girl as beautiful as the previous one who went to England. His present one is a mistake who does not match him at all. All the other cast members are wonderful and Erin’s Anthony is a perfect addition. Thanks for allowing me to give you my opinion, I am eagerly awaiting the new season of Blue Bloods.

I agree with you about Eddie. She doesn’t have the same values as Jamie. She fights him when he is kind and wants to go the extra mile, a hallmark of the Regans, before she surprises him and acts before he does. She’s jealous in how the world sees it, insecure, instead of it being what it really means, expecting ones partner to be faithful to the covenant relationship.
EDDIE IS PERFECT FOR JAMIE!!!!! They are so comical together & you can see how devoted she is to him!!! I hope the show lasts at least another 5yrs or until Jamie is Commissioner he deserves it & would be perfect!!!! He & Eddie are perfect together as JAMKO!!! Love JAMKO & they are the only reason I watch!!!!

Blue Bloods is my favorite program and I would be lost without it! I also faithfully watch the reruns and hope they too will continue. PLEASE NEVER, EVER cancel this program!

I love Blue Bloods, I hope it will continue for many years. I love Tom Selleck as NYC commissioner and the way the whole family is involved. Great show, always looking forward to Friday Evening. I Also like Hawaii 5O and hope it will continue to.
