Did Sydney make the right choice in the first season of the Bluff City Law TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Bluff City Law is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the season one episodes of Bluff City Law here. *Status update below.
An NBC legal drama, the Bluff City Law TV series stars Jimmy Smits, Caitlin McGee, Scott Shepherd, Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, MaameYaa Boafo, Stony Blyden, and Jayne Atkinson. Coming from a famous Memphis family that’s known for taking on injustice, a brilliant lawyer named Sydney Strait (McGee) used to work at her father Elijah’s celebrated law firm until their tumultuous relationship got in the way. After barely speaking to Elijah (Smits) for years, Sydney is suddenly thrust back into the family fold when her philanthropist mother passes away unexpectedly. In the wake of the loss of his wife and in hopes of reconnecting with the daughter he loves, Elijah asks Sydney to rejoin his Civil Rights firm and take on a chemical company whose product may cause cancer. Despite her lingering resentment and distrust, she agrees because she knows that working alongside her father is her best hope at changing the world — as long as they can find a way to get along. No sooner has Sydney returned than she stumbles on a secret that Elijah has been keeping from her that may change everything.

I really love this show. You can reach deep and relate to every episode that brings so many heartfelt feelings from others who have suffered in one way or another.
Bluff City Law to me is a very down to Earth show touching so many aspects in todays society.
It became more intense each episode that showed with more realistic emotions between family, staff, clients and strangers. Everyone has a heart and are not afraid to show true feelings or go after the truth at any cost.
Truly hope you bring a long run to this well deserving show.

My husband and I really enjoyed Bluff City Law and thought it was the best show offered for intelligent “grownups” by any of the networks. The acting, the characters, the cases, the writing—all were superb. I was very disappointed that NBC chose to cancel such a quality show.
What a great show. I hope it comes back next year. Cast is wonderful. Lots of chemistry between the characters.
This program is very well written, the actors are most exvellent, topics are relative to today. We are drawn in to, not only the storylines, but the characters themselves. Episode 10 rated more than 10 stars, in my opinion.This is the best show in the NBC line up. It doesn’t insult our intelligence, isn’t gory, isn’t science fiction nonsense. Bluff City Law deserves to be renewed for several more seasons.
This show deserves a season 2, 3, 4 & more. Awesome actors and great story lines. Best show on TV. Filmed in Memphis tops it off. I heard rating was based on 19 to 49 year olds. Need to include 50 to 70. A lot of people I know that watched were in this age group including me!!! #BluffCityLawSeasonTwo!!

Please renew this series the storylines are always interesting and the writing improves each week. Love this group of amazing actors and the Memphis setting.
Please renew Bluff City Law. It is one of the best shows of the season. A welcome change and the cases they take on are so interesting.
Would love to see Bluff City Law renewed. It has very good storylines and excellent acting. We love this show and I think if you would give it a chance it could be as successful as Law and Order.
Bluff City Law is excellent. It improved with each episode. This series deserves a chance to gather more attention.
