TV show description:
A legal drama, the Bluff City Law TV series is set in Memphis, Tennessee. Coming from a famous family that’s known for taking on injustice, a brilliant lawyer named Sydney Strait (McGee) used to work at her father Elijah’s celebrated law firm until their tumultuous relationship got in the way.
After barely speaking to her father for years, Sydney is suddenly thrust back into the family fold when her philanthropist mother passes away unexpectedly. In the wake of the loss of his wife and in hopes of reconnecting with the daughter he loves, Elijah (Smits) asks Sydney to rejoin his Civil Rights firm and take on a chemical company whose product may cause cancer.
Despite her lingering resentment and distrust, she agrees because she knows that working alongside her father is her best hope at changing the world — as long as they can find a way to get along. No sooner has Sydney returned than she stumbles on a secret that Elijah has been keeping from her that may change everything.
Episode #10 — Perfect Day
Sydney and Elijah race against the clock to get political asylum for a journalist whose life is at risk. Emerson plans a Thanksgiving surprise for Elijah.

Please don’t let this show go its quirky funny and the acting is amazing.. It’s nice change of scenery from medical drama.. NBC gives this show a chance pls

We are enjoying the new series BLUFF CITY LAW. Jimmy Smits is so good and so is McGee.
The writing is very good…wish our world could solve problems as quickly as they do. I hope it is not cancelled. Give it more time. I want to know more about Emerson and his Mom. And, what will happen to Mr. Bell. Story lines have been intriguing.
I love this show….please don’t cancel it just as we get attached to it…like happened with “The Village” last year!!

Don’t cancel this great show! This is a great show very entertaining, on point with real life issues of today. Great cast, good topics, and is a lot of different real life situations wrapped into one show!!!

Please don’t cancel. Finally an intelligent program with no violence that makes sense. I’m just now watching the first six all in a row. I love legal programs. And the characters, besides Jimmy Smits, are new to me. They seem more believable.

I absolutely love this show. Maybe if people knew what it was, when it was, it would have a fighting chance. It is one of three shows I watch on NBC and the only reason I found it was on the app for one of the other shows. I read somewhere that it follows The Voice, so more people should be watching it. Not everyone watches The Voice (I REFUSE to watch Blake Shelton), put at least as much effort into promoting the show as your stars do in acting in it and you would have your viewers.
I refuse to watch any singing shows where everyone tries to out scream each other. That is not entertaining.
I absolutely Love this Show, you need to give this Show a Chance! If anything to see the Wonderful & Great Jimmy Smits back in the Role as an Attorney for which he was so fabulous played many years ago in L.A. LAW, And him being so Handsome dosen’t hurt! You also need to see the Actress who portrays his Daughter Sydney, she is New to Me, but she’s an awesome Actor!!! I hope more People tune in before they Cancel this Show, it would be a shame to see these Actors let go!!!
