After three seasons on Monday nights, CBS has moved the Bull TV show to a very competitive Thursday night timeslot. The series has been a middle-of-the-road performer in the ratings in the past. Will this drama thrive or struggle on its new night? Will Bull be cancelled or renewed for season seven? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.
A legal drama series, the Bull TV show stars Michael Weatherly, Yara Martinez, Geneva Carr, Jamie Lee Kirchner, Christopher Jackson, and MacKenzie Meehan. Matt Dellapina and Ollie Robinson recur. The show follows Dr. Jason Bull (Weatherly) who is brilliant, brash, and charming. Together with his team of experts at Trial Analysis Corporation, Bull combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes those in a courtroom tick. The team includes neurolinguistics expert Marissa Morgan (Carr), former NYPD detective Danny James (Kirchner), hacker Taylor Rentzel (Meehan), and image expert Chunk Palmer (Jackson). In high-stakes trials, Bull’s remarkable insights and top-notch staff create winning strategies that tip the scales of justice in his clients’ favor. In his personal life, Bull has remarried Isabella “Izzy” Colón (Martinez) and they have a young daughter.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
5/27 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: Season five of Bull on CBS averaged a 0.46 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.05 million viewers.
Note: These are the final national ratings, including all live+same day viewing and DVR playback (through 3:00 AM). Early fast affiliate ratings (estimates) are indicated with an “*”. While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. Though other economic factors are involved, the higher-rated shows usually get renewed and the lower-rated ones get cancelled.
What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV series on CBS? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a seventh season?
*1/19/2022 update: Bull is ending so, there won’t be a seventh season.
I miss Bennie show not the same
No Benny, no Bull! He was integral to the show’s storyline for me. It used to be a favourite, but I no longer bother to watch.
Please renewed another season
I love the show Bull! I binge watch it since I have on demand tv and am not always available to watch it live. I think anyone who does not like this show is crazy! All the actors are awesome. Please do not cancel it.
Please boost your ratings look forward to seeing it every week. So good never missed any episodes of it. Love it and enjoy it.
We love this series and look forward to it every week and miss it during the off season. Don’t cancel!
I find this year to be very weak in general. First the baby’s kidnapping and now this never ending arc about Bull paying a bribe. Could we just go back to the original premise and follow TAC on a trial? It all smacks of desperation. If Bull doesn’t snap out of it, we will stop watching.
I still enjoy the show somewhat, but with Benny gone it has a different tone. Chunk is not the same lawyer caliber as Benny. Bringing in that lady lawyer to help Bull was smart. However, at this point I’m not as invested in it and so I don’t care whether it’s renewed or not.
My husband and I enjoy Bull. We are seniors and it is one of the few TV shows that is enjoyable, entertaining with very good acting. The story lines are always varied and keep you thinking. I hope they run for another season.
This program has always been a great “feel good” program. It has now gone down the path of all other successful programs. It is not enjoyable to watch. In fact it’s aggravating. This last episode was absurd and totally annoying. I deleted it from my recordings. I won’t watch h it again. There is enough angst and anger in our every day lives and I don’t need to watch it on TV.
I like the new format where storylines from one week lead over to the next week. I think the qualities of the shows are better overall this season. It would be nice if Benny would come back to the show.
Show just isn’t as good without Benny,I won’t be watching it anymore
When you have a good show with people who blend well together and you start writing the characters out of the serious I don’t watch it any more the magic is gone and the show falls apart
Never missed a Monday night show.! I will watch every week no matter what night it’s on. Season six opener was great! I am terribly disappointed that Benny is gone. Chunk is a great character to take the roll as head lawyer. Will there be another team member added? Seems like something is missing. Best of luck to Freddy Rodriguez.
Great show! Many more seasons please.
Great show. One of the best. Hope it continues for many more seasons.
