A FOX multi-camera comedy series, the Call Me Kat TV show is based on the British Miranda series. The U.S. sitcom stars Mayim Bialik, Swoosie Kurtz, Kyla Pratt, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Jordan, and Julian Gant. The story follows Kat (Bialik), a woman who struggles every day against society and her mother to prove that she can live a happy and fulfilling life — despite still being single at 39 years old. Kat’s mother, Sheila (Kurtz), views her daughter being single as her own personal failure. After leaving her job as a University of Louisville college professor, Kat spends the money her parents had set aside for her wedding to open a cat café. Working alongside Kat are Randi (Pratt) and Phil (Jordan). As Kat celebrates her independence, her single-forever plans begin to veer off-course. Her former crush and good friend, Max (Jackson), returns to town and takes a job as a bartender at the piano bar across the street and works with his friend, Carter (Gant).

i immediately related and love every single episode. what a stitch! it compares favorably with Miranda, the bbc show, as it is slicker and the characters are more clearly defined. love the fourth wall and the waving at the end. it’s a true sendup and so campy! i’ve watched episodes over again for sheer joy. it just gets better, and there’s always surprise upon surprise each episode. the writing is snappy and clever. mayim’s delightful and everybody in the cast is very well chosen. they’re all so lovable! i’d watch them anywhere! i am buying their episodes on amazon. cheers… Read more »
I love this show. I re-watch it all of the time and still laugh. It is one of the best shows on tv right now. The cast is amazing and I hope that they get renewed for season 2.
My husband and I have enjoyed every episode. The premise of the show is original and clever while the entire cast is a joy to watch. Well-written, marvelous actors and the cats are a plus! The set is beautiful and we always look forward to the curtain call. Please, please renew this show! There is so much to dislike on network TV nowadays-gun violence, terrible language, risqué scenes and awful writing with tiresome plots, to be honest.
This lively, lovely show and cast deserve a second chance!
Refreshing, funny, rated PG so I can watch with my grandkids, love how the ensemble is stretching and discovering new depths to each actors roles and relationships…it’s just what this world needs right now.
This show is like a breath of fresh air. It’s funny and really makes you relax and feel good. I really look forward to it every week and I sincerely hope they continue this for many more seasons.

So glad there’s finally a sitcom back on television that for the most part is just for fun! I have each episode DVR’d & go back & watch them several times. I look forward to this each week & am hoping that it’s renewed for a second season. There is so much stress going on in the world in the world right now. I love to be able to escape with something light hearted but that is still socially relevant! Oh how I wish we could get more of these type shooed!!!
I DVR every episode and re-watch many times. It is a fun show with a feel-good vibe.
