What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the OWN cable channel, Cherish the Day is created and produced by Ava DuVernay. The show revolves around a different couple each season and each episode spans a single day. The first season stars Xosha Roquemore, Alano Miller, and Cicely Tyson, with Michael Beach, Anne-Marie Johnson, and Kellee Stewart in recurring roles. Gently James (Roquemore), a well-traveled caregiver from the West Adams district, and software engineer Evan Fisher (Miller) have a chance meeting and fall in love in Los Angeles.

I absolutely loved this show from the very beginning. I set my dvr to make sure I got to see the entire season. I know its supposed to showcase different couples but I fell in love with this couple and feel there’s more story to tell. Please bring them back for season 2❤
I did not have the opportunity to watch Season 1 while it was in progress because of a busy schedule! However, during this pandemic, I binged and it is the best drama, show that I have seen in a very long time…so much substance! I strongly believe there should be a 2nd season and I hope that Ms. Ava and Ms. Oprah agrees! Blesssings!

please renew show with same Cast… this show was a great help to me on different levels. I love the chemistry between Evan and Gently… We need them back.. no other couple. We want to see what happen on the next level of their relationship. because the love was still there between the both of them.. They both played their Parts awesome , but Evan took the Cake…
