Can Agent Starling escape her past in the first season of the Clarice TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Clarice is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Clarice here. *Status update below.
A CBS psychological crime and horror series, the Clarice TV show stars Rebecca Breeds, Michael Cudlitz, Lucca de Oliveira, Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Devyn Tyler, and Marnee Carpenter. The series is a deep dive into the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling (Breeds) as she returns to the field in 1993, one year after the hunt for serial killer Buffalo Bill (Simon Northwood). Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice’s bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. However, her complex psychological makeup — which comes from a challenging childhood — empowers her to begin to find her voice while working in a man’s world. It also helps her begin to escape the family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.
What do you think? Which season one episodes of the Clarice TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Do you think that Clarice should be cancelled or renewed for a second season on CBS? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
*Status Update: Clarice has been cancelled so, there won’t be a second season on CBS.
Awesome show , great cast!! Cancel some of that reality crap
Great show, great cast! Please don’t cancel Clarice
I have loved Clarice. The characters great- plot exciting- nice that it is a show for adults – a good mix of mystery, phsycological thriller and emotions. Strongly hoping it is not canceled. Tired of no brainer comedies ( except Call me Kat – B Positive and Mr.Mayor) and game shows with screaming over the top contestants.
Oh, just not so dark…
Clarice is the only reason I began to watch series television again. The team demonstrates a unit that – though imperfect, perfectly fitting.
Clarice’s character is so well portrayed, I actually wonder if the background and insight that the actress exhibits on the show isn’t as innate as acted.
Yes, a psychological thriller…but enjoyable enough that I embrace what I ordinarily would find distasteful.
Please give this show another chance!
I love this show. I hope they renew it.
Please don’t cancel Clarice!! The premise of the show doesn’t need to be so dark now that Clarice has resolved her personal issues. She and the cast are great!!!
Great show! Please keep it! It just needs better marketing! It’s very unique and so artistically creative.
Please please don’t cancel Clarice. It’s the best show on TV!
This show is awesome!! It’s so well-done!! The actors are great, the characters are great, and the writing is great!! If this show is cancelled, there will be nothing worth watching on tv anymore. Not everyone wants to stream, or watch Amazon or Apple exclusive shows. Not all of us are able to do this!! Please keep it!! We look forward to this show every week!! Thankyou for it and keep up the good work!!
Most thought provoking show on television. It did “Silence of the Lambs” justice.
This show is great. Every time they put a good show on they cancel it. But they keep putting reality shows on which are really stupid and not real.
PLEASE don’t cancel Clarice! Cancel some of the stupid shows and we all know there are a lot of those!
It appears that every time there is a new show that is good it get’s cancelled but all of the reality shows that have no substance remain on.
So CBS is talking about canceling CLARICE????? – I have an idea!!! Let’s cancel some of the so-called reality shows on television that don’t make you use any BRAINPOWER at all.
The cast is excellent and the story lines are developing along nicely. Comparing it to Silence of the Lamb is like comparing apples to oranges.
Agreed! This show gets your mind going! I will be very disappointed if it gets canceled.
