Fargo star Allison Tolman is set to star in a new ABC comedy, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Titled Downward Dog, the half-hour comedy follows the life of a woman and her dog.

Created by Samm Hodges and Michael Killen, the show began as a web series. Killen and Hodges are also involved with the television pilot, which is being produced by Legendary TV and ABC Studios.

Tolman will play Nan, a woman always trying to improve her life. Her dog, Martin, will provide commentary via Modern Family-style confessionals.
