What’s This TV Show About?
A CW soap opera, Dynasty stars Grant Show, Alan Dale, Elizabeth Gillies, Nathalie Kelley, James Mackay, Sam Adegoke, Robert Christopher Riley, Rafael de la Fuente, Brianna Brown, and Nick Wechsler. The drama centers on the wealthy Carrington family and the energy empire they must defend against the Colbys and other adversaries. Although Fallon (Gillies) is the heir apparent to father Blake’s (Show) company, she grows suspicious when she learns he is marrying the beautiful, much younger Cristal (Kelley). When Fallon sets out to expose the interloper as a fraud, her actions cost her her father’s trust, so she forges an alliance with his rival, Jeff Colby (Adegoke). Blood is thicker than water, but whether it’s dearer than oil remains to be seen.

Telly’s Take
Dynasty got off to a slow start in the ratings and the numbers haven’t gotten better. However, ratings are less important to The CW than the other networks. The series is based on an existing CBS property and Netflix releases the show internationally so, word is, a deal with the latter makes Dynasty profitable right out of the gate. I grew up watching the original Dynasty. At first, I wasn’t sure what to think of this one. However, I was captivated after episode 2. I definitely hope the series is renewed for another season. I think it’s brilliant. I would love to see Joan Collins make a cameo as Alexis…
I love this reboot! I’ve binged watched the whole first season. I love how they don’t drag out the storyline and it is concluded by the end of the episode. I really really hope there’s a season 2.

I am 2 a 66yr old & watched the original Dynasty in the 70’s & have to say u got use to the old cast so wen i saw the new modern version *** on Netflix NZ i naturally was in & sceptical of this new generation Dynasty…Top Marks…✔✔✔…& look forward to season 2…cheers…
I really like the new Dynasty I watched the Original Series back in the 80’s I love some of the changes . but I must say fallen is fantastic, I hope this show survives and Alexis coming back is fantastic I just hope you make her as powerful as she was in the original series, when will some of the former actors and actresses be making cameos. Joan Collins would make a great ex mother in law to Blake. looking forward to dramatic action packed season two

Grew up watching the original Dynasty and love that they created the new one! I know of people in their 80’s who are wTching this version as well. Bring on season 2!
I’m 61, both my daughters watch Dynasty. Also my 21 year old granddaughter and her friends loved it
Bring on season 2. I loved it. And I loved the original series all those years ago.
