Set in San Francisco, this family sitcom is a follow-up to the Full House sitcom which ran for eight seasons and 192 episodes on ABC.
D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) is a recently widowed veterinarian and mother to three young sons — 13-year-old Jackson (Michael Campion), 7-year-old Max (Elias Harger), and infant Tommy Junior (Dashiell and Fox Messitt). DJ’s husband, Tommy Fuller, died as a firefighter. A single working mom, DJ’s feeling overwhelmed and scared about what lies ahead.
Her father, Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), is set to move to Los Angeles with his wife Teri (Eva LaRue), brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos) and Jesse’s wife, Rebecca (Lori Loughlin). Danny and Rebecca are set to host a morning program called Wake Up USA while Jesse will be composing music for General Hospital. Jesse and Becky’s grown twin sons, Nicky and Alex (Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit) are in college and plan to open a fish taco truck together.
Danny had planned to sell the family house but instead decides to let DJ and her family live there.
“Uncle” Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) works and lives in Las Vegas as a comedian. Youngest Tanner sister Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the original series) now owns a fashion empire in New York.
Sister Stephanie Tanner has been working as a traveling disc jockey in London but decides to move back into her old home in San Francisco, to help her sister raise her kids.
DJ’s wacky childhood friend, Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), is now a party planner and is the divorced mother of a 13-year-old daughter named Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas). Kimmy also decides to move in to help DJ raise her boys and the Tanner sisters reluctantly agree.
DJ’s former boyfriend, Steve Hale (Scott Weinger), is now divorced and hopes to rekindle his relationship with her. Her fellow vet Matt Harmon (John Brotherton) is very interested in her as well.
Episode #75 — Our Very Last Show, Again
The triple wedding trends toward disaster as one detail after another falls through. But is it a curse — or a sign of big surprises to come?
First aired: June 2, 2020.
What do you think? Do you like the Fuller House TV show? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a sixth season?
I love this show. If people don’t like it they don’t have to watch it. It is good clean family fun. It gives me a rest from the stressed out world we all live in. I know more people watch violence, murder, and science fiction, but not everyone likes those after a hard day at work. I can watch it over and over.
This show sucks!
Any channel didn’t want it
Do is still hot
But hope it gets cancelled
I think the show is mediocre. Candace Cameron Bure’s character is uptight. Not a big fan of this show.
I like the show I loved watching Full House, and I enjoy getting the chance to see how the family has grown and changed. I hope they air the second season soon and that it goes beyond that. I hope that DJ chooses Steve because they have a history together, but I think both Steve and Matt will continue to fight for her.
I like the show… Stephanie is good. Since I grew up with the original “FULL HOUSE”.. I can understand all the kids. But, I don’t like D. J. as much as I used to. She’s kind of boring!! I’m married, & similar in a situation like her age!! So, I figured they would make her out to be more “upbeat”!! Plus, I wish it wouldn’t be just on “Netflix”!!! I’m NOT spending extra money to watching ALL THE TIME!!! Saw one season… Good enough for me!!!! Bye bye!!! Updated now!!!!
Keep it going do not care about the haters this show is awesome and it is a great spin off for full house.
Love Fuller House! Awesome job on the spin off of an awesome original show ! Glad there are so many original cast members and love the new editions!!! Bring on season 2!!!!!!
We really love this show! It is funny and the characters are great – such a great continuation of the original Full House. I’m a little disappointed in all of the “sexy” references for young viewers. We love the show but once in a while I cringe and hope that my 5, 8, and 10 year old missed some of the references. It’s great for my almost teen and us as a family, just wish maybe it was a little more family friendly for my young ones.
+Rebecca:they decided not to be as innoncent with the spin off since the original cast members are now adults and the audience is a lot more sophisicated even the kids. Plus the parent show had sexy references no one just ever noticed them because of how they were phrased. Plus it takes like 4 or 5 seasons before they turn into family friendly for 3 or 4 year olds.the first 3 seasons are about adults then seasons 4-8 are usually more about the kids because the parents learn how to work together.
+Rebecca:Full house is the same way as fuller house no one ever noticed because full house was more innoncent fuller house grew up with the original fans. Plus it takes them up until 4 or 5 seasons before it turns into family friendly.kids are a lot smarter now even ones Max’s age.
LOVE this show! As someone who loved the original, it is so clever and hilarious. I could watch all the episodes back to back, but I’m trying to savor them. So many laughs. It’s amazing that (almost) everyone came back to do this- very special and extremely rare. Oh, and I just can’t get enough of little Max!
Loved the show. Please please renew it
Love it!!as amo of 2 teens that love it, keep it coming!!!
The show is a bit of let down. Kimmy is still hilarious. Max is a really funny kid. Kimmy’s daughter is not funny and DJ’s oldest son is replaceable. Kimmy’s Ex Fernando is hilarious. DJ and Steph are still great.
i haven’t seen fuller house but if its like full house, i would like it…..
+slick:it is just with reversed roles and it is more an adult version of full house that is still a family show the concept is the same as full house but with a twist.
i haven’t seen fuller house get but if it like full house, i would like it…..
Does Netflix release the number of views a show gets?
Nope. I suspect this show has been very popular however.
+Don:I do not think Netflix cares if the show has haters either does the executive producer or creator. I think Netflix is giving the original fans of the series want which is for the show to continue.
