As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

The show has the potential to be one of the best shows ever. It can be up there with likes of the wire, sopranos and breaking bad, this show always was my pre weekend it started of my weekends for me I enjoyed it. I really hope season 2 gets up and running please

This was one of the BEST series I have seen in a long while. Very disappointed to know there will not be a season 2. SMH
I like Gang Related and hope you reconsider….. Fox always just has a series for a season then cancels it…. I wish they would at least have a good ending to it, how in the world is he going to get out of the middle of good and evil?????
WTF!!!! Who’s asleep at the wheel of this network. This show was by far one of the better shows on t.v. this is why more people r going to AMC and FX. My patience and pretty much everyone I know who watches this network has been tested. And we’re through. Wow. Cancelled. Well back to scheduling our basketball games for Thurs. Night.
This show was a good show it was our date nite now date note kinda sucks cz we had to find something to to watch and haven’t really found anything that’s a must be home by 9 for our show. You got try it again being in the second season. U can’t just leave us hanging.
SO UPSET THAT IT GOT CANCEL..I HOPE ANOTHER NETWORK WOULD TAKE THE CHANCE AND PICK IT UP…GREAT SHOW SHOULD HAVE GIVEN A SECOND SEASON..

Great now we have nothing to look forward to on Thursday nights…idk how they can keep garbage like glee on …Not a smart move so by this saying makes me want to quit watching that channel
So it was canceled due to low ratings?? More people watched this show than the presidents speech!!! Bring it back for winter season!!!
This terrible. What a great show. I loved this show. Not a good idea to pull this after a season. PLEASE reconsider and give it another season. There are so many shows on that should be off but for some reason the show continues. Urban shows are not given half the a chance before they are canceled. 95% of this vote says if there was a second season they would watch it. We really needed closure from season one. Hope the decision is not final.
