As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Good Doctor is cancelled or renewed for a second season. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated that their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the season one episodes of The Good Doctor for us here.
An ABC medical drama, The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore, Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Tamlyn Tomita, and Richard Schiff. The show centers on Dr. Shaun Murphy (Highmore), a new surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome. His incredible memory and keen ability to perceive spatial relations inform Shaun’s gifted comprehension of his patients. Meanwhile, his autism can hinder his ability to communicate with others. With only the help of his advocate, Dr. Aaron Glassman (Schiff), Shaun must challenge the skepticism and prejudices of the hospital’s board and medical staff, in order to do his job and save lives.

I agree with everyone. I love this show & for me it’s one of only 3 great new shows (The Brave is one & Young Sheldon is the other). Freddie Highmore, once again, is totally captivating!
My wife and I are both retired teachers and can truly identify with the world of the Autistic child. We are absolutely loving this series. Hope it goes on for years; we are totally captivated.
As a Pediatrician, I’m certainly very familiar with autistic children. This character is absolutely adorable, and having so much to contribute to the well being of patients is so redeeming!!! I love this series, and find myself looking forward for the next episode every time. Please go on with it.
Great show, do not cancel! If this were on earlier, this show would be excellent for a younger audience to learn and grow from….

I love the series! Seriously so different then most stuff on TV , I’m looking forward to what happens too all those kids in Residence. Perfect idea and perfect actors and actresses! Love it

Absolutely love this show. Please do not cancel. It is a wonderful show to get the family together to watch. Shows children that just because someone is different, they can be a very positive influence on the world. Thank u for airing this show.
It’s a great show, however it’s in a terrible time slot! It needs to be on earlier in the evening!!!
You got to be kidding !!!!!! This is the best show that the TV network has put on. We cannot wait till the show comes on following week to see what happens. I might as well turn off my TV and go to sleep !!!!!!
I totally agree, it’s a very good show. This is the only program on tv now that I truly love to watch. It is in a bad time slot for us that have to go to work early in the morning. I feel sure that the ratings would be much better if this program came on at an earlier time slot. Even an hour earlier would help.

“The Good Doctor” is a great show. I am tired of REALITY shows, and one-dimentional comedy shows which makes “TGD” very refreshing! Finally there is something worth looking forward to on network TV. Please do not cancel this series–It would be a mistake.

Love this show. Wonderful. One of the very best new shows this season. The cast is great and the story lines are enlightening. Mondays’ episode was particularly good. This show is heartwarming and a breath of fresh air. I hope it is renewed.

I enjoyed first 3 shows and find myself looking forward to each episode..so hope it is not cancelled. Suggested: I do find the audio is sometimes unclear or muffled and do feel this should be corrected for maximum enjoyment. Every word, sentence etc. should be crisp and clear.
I absolutely love The Good Dr. I hope it goes on for several more seasons. I had to google to see if Freddy was an autistic actor in stead of an actor playing autistic. That is how great he is!
This series is even better than House, it it now the only series i watch on TV in England. Series 2 please !!!!!
