An ABC medical drama, The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore, Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Tamlyn Tomita, and Richard Schiff. The show centers on Dr. Shaun Murphy (Highmore), a new surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome. His incredible memory and keen ability to perceive spatial relations inform Shaun’s gifted comprehension of his patients. Meanwhile, his autism can hinder his ability to communicate with others. With only the help of his advocate, Dr. Aaron Glassman (Schiff), Shaun must challenge the skepticism and prejudices of the hospital’s board and medical staff, in order to do his job and save lives.

I just love this show, Freddie is a terrific actor, saw Freddie in August Rush and that is my ultimate all time favorite. keep up the great work God Bless you
Loved August Rush (Robin was so nasty though). Also loved Freddie in Bates Motel. Still waiting for season 5 on Netflix. BTW: I hope Netflix gets The Good Doctor at the end of its season.
Love the show. Writing needs to improve. Freddie and Richard Schaf are awesome. The others are so so. I think the teaching doctor is too young. Special f/x need work.
Love this show..one of the best on TV for a very long time. Please renew The Good Doctor for many seasons to come!
My husband and I love this show. We have a grandson with Aspergers. He is really intelligent but , has issues with his social skills. I just want people to know that not all people with autism can accomplish what this character has. It is an informative show and it show remain on the air.
I do not normally follow (much less get hooked!) any TV series but I was hooked at The Good Doctor since Episode 1! Autism is a topic that is very dear to me and I would like more people to get educated with this condition. The Good Doctor is a very good medium for this. Thank you so much! I look forward to watching Season 2!
I LOVE “The Good Doctor”. It is so interesting and so much better than any other doctor show I have ever seen. Other doctor shows are typical of the same hospital ailments. So, “The Good Doctor” is far more interesting not knowing what Dr. Murphy is thinking and seeing what is in his mind. Great show! Renew it please.
The Good Doctor is an awesome show love it hope it stays on the air for years to come

I absolutely love and look forward to watching The Good Doctor. Freddie Highmore is excellent in his role. This show touches my spirit with every episode. As a teacher specializing in special education and needs I have personally worked with different levels of autistic children and have personally taken my son to a doctor with Asperger syndrome. The show is a fresh and intriguing new take for television and touches the human spirit in a new perspective. I am disappointed that the show is cancelled tonight for the finale of Dancing With The Stars- annoying. For those that do not… Read more »
My husband and I both love this show!!!! A family member is on the spectrum and almost spot on..perhaps slightly exaggerated meltdowns, but eye contact issues and social interaction issues so well portrayed. Finally,a show that lets people know that Autistic people have incredible gifts and need to be given a chance to use them and to be accepted for who they are. The actor portraying Dr. Sean Murphy is amazing!! Please renew!!
