Will there be another season of Grand Hotel? Recently, ABC boss Karey Burke discussed the future of the freshman TV show, Deadline reports.
The drama serie centers on the Riviera Grand, the last family-owned hotel in Miami Beach, owner Santiago Mendoza (Demián Bichir), and his family. Beneath the veneer of luxury, lurk sinful scandals, financial foibles, and deep, dark secrets. The cast also includes Roselyn Sánchez, Denyse Tontz, Bryan Craig, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lincoln Youne, Shalim Ortiz, Anne Winters, Chris Warren, Feliz Ramirez, and Justina Adorno.
During this year’s summer TCA press conference, Burke revealed ABC will wait until the end of Grand Hotel‘s first season to make a renewal decision:
We’re going to wait until the end of its run. It’s a show we like a lot. It’s a show that I wish the ratings were a bit stronger but we’ll make that decision after its run.”
So far, the primetime soap is earning fairly lackluster ratings, averaging a .57 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.022 million viewers.

YES!! Please keep it! It’s the one show I look forward to each week! And sometimes I can’t watch it when it comes on but you can’t fully judge the ratings off that because I record it so I can watch it when I get home from work !

I liked grand hotel and watched it every week it was one of the best shows of the summer .
Please don’t cancel the grand hotel. Abc always does that’s has season one but never season two. Makes you not want to invest time in watching.
This is a fabulous show…think “Dynasty” and “Dallas”! The major 3 networks need more shows like this! It’s pure entertainment and it’s not medical, cop, FBI, or a lackluster comedy…already the shows advertised for this fall are deplorable. Yet, a bitingly funny comedy gets one season! I’m referring to “The Kids are Alright” which was outrageous and funny and exactly how Catholic families were at that time. My husband who is Catholic was raised in the same time period and said it’s spot on! PLEASE KEEP GRAND HOTEL!!!

Watch it. We love it. It’s a perfect show. The characters are great. The stories and dialogue are terrific. The mysteries are non Stop and hard to second guess. Can’t wait to see the finale! Pls RENEW this GREAT SHOW! It could not be better!!!

I am 65 & love this show. Every episode builds on the next & I can’t wait for next week. Did Gigi or Mateo kill Sky? Will Santiago kick Gigi to the curb?
