TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?

Boy, oh boy .. the special effects on this show is totally amazing .. don’t know why THEY want to CANCEL it .. has me stumped .. a great time slot with plenty of people watching .. what a SAD CHOICE THEY HAVE MADE!!
i love the show and dont want it to end . please please renew it.
I can’t believe this show is ending after only 6 seasons. Maybe if NBC didn’t have it in one of the worst night/time slots ever, it would have wider viewership. We watch it on Amazon because 8PM on a Friday night just doesn’t work for us. Do they count viewers like us?! What a shame. One of the most unique shows on tv in a long time.
Good show always watched even after you changed to Friday nights. Please bring back.
LET’S START A RIOT! SHOW TO NBC WE WANT MORE!!
We love this show and have been watching it since the beginning. I hope it gets picked up on another network.
I’m really sorry to see Grimm go under i really loved it and looked forwardto the next show
JKF. Any way sci-fi channel will pick up the show? It’s the only tv show I’ve religiously watched every season. It never disappoints. I’ll be at a loss on Friday nights.
Grimm is one of my favorite TV shows. I love the characters and the plot. I’m surprised this show is being cancelled. If there is any chance it could be renewed, please do it!!!
I am disappointed that the series will be cancelled. Love the cast and the story lines. You put this at a bad time on Friday night. Go back to 8 or 9 and this will change ratings. You’re making a huge mistake.
Please don’t cancel Grimm!
I am really disappointed because this show was a favorite of mine and my husbands. It’s gonna be missed. I personally believe they are making a mistake.
I always look forward to the next episode of Grimm. When the seasons are in their hiatus, I cannot wait for the next season to start. I love the premise of the show and the characters. Please don’t cancel Grimm. It’s one of the few shows I watch religiously every single week.
I do not understand why Grimm has been cancelled. Very upsetting. My husband and I are big fans. I hope another network picks up this series; since the current network does not seem to appreciate how good and popular GRIMM is. Cast is excellent, writing is great. There’s no other show like it.
Grimm is one of my favorite shows I look forward to watching each week. It has great characters and imagination. I can’t believe it was cancelled. It just proves the network brass are not in touch with intelligent viewers.
