It looks like Harlots is history. Hulu has cancelled the period drama series so, there won’t be a fourth season, reports THR.
Inspired by the lives of real women, Harlots stars Samantha Morton, Jessica Brown Findlay, Lesley Manville, Eloise Smyth, and Liv Tyler. Alfie Allen joined season three as the new pimp in town, Isaac Pincher, with Ash Hunter playing his brother, Hal. The story unfolds in 18th century Georgian London and centers on the Wells family, led by brothel-owning matriarch Margaret (Samantha Morton).
The third season kicked off with Margaret having been sent to America in chains, while rival Lydia Quigley (Manville) is in Bedlam. With the help of allies including Lady Fitz (Tyler) the Wells women hope to be free of their mother’s feud. Soon though, Charlotte (Brown-Findlay) realizes running the brothel cultivates enemies.
Based on The Covent Garden Ladies by Hallie Rubenhold, the Harlots TV series launched in March 2017 on Hulu in the United States and on ITV Encore in the United Kingdom. The Harlots show ran for three seasons and 24 episodes, which were all helmed by female directors. The de facto series finale of Harlots was released by Hulu on August 28, 2019.

I’m shocked this show has been cut. It was and still is such an an entertaining show. There is still so much potential; I’m baffled as to why this decision was made. Bring back Harlots!!
Love the series, don’t cancel
This was a terrific show. Why it got cancelled is beyond me.
Well this is so disappointing that it will be not be renewed. I enjoyed this show so much from both a historical point of view but also the characters and portrayal.
Bring back season 4 on Harlots!! Such a good show!
I checked everyday since the summer to see if it was renewed!!! I never loved a show so much! I am so disheartened…..Wow can’t believe it and it had so many fans and such good ratings!!!

I really liked Harlots and am sorry Hulu cancelled this show. I’m a 73 y/o female in the US deep South and was not offended by the show’s content.

It’s where I don’t want to watch any series since you get hooked then they cancel. I see so much garbage continued makes you wonder. Seems like a few people are dictating what we can view.
Guess we need to go back to just reading and the radio
I just burst into tears, I’m actually crying, I can’t even. I like “The Great” which obviously filled Harlot’s spot, and though Elle Fanning is doing a great job, the series is too off kilter and silly to be a serious and continuing success IMO. I saw this coming, but hoped it wouldn’t. Someone start a petition to have ITV continue it in the UK at least!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting and waiting for more – this is awful. I AM SO SAD! It was a wonderful production. BOO!
