What’s This TV Show About?
A Hulu period drama, inspired by the lives of real women, Harlots stars Samantha Morton, Jessica Brown Findlay, Lesley Manville, Eloise Smyth, and Liv Tyler. Alfie Allen joins season three the new pimp in town, Isaac Pincher, with Ash Hunter playing his brother, Hal. The story unfolds in 18th century Georgian London and centers on the Wells family, led by brothel-owning matriarch Margaret (Samantha Morton). The third season kicks off with Margaret having been sent to America in chains, while rival Lydia Quigley (Manville) is in Bedlam. With the help of allies including Lady Fitz (Tyler) the Wells women hope to be free of their mother’s feud. Soon though, Charlotte (Brown-Findlay) realizes running the brothel cultivates enemies.
Harlots has been cancelled, so there will not be a fourth season. Could this series be revived someday?
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership statistics, it is difficult to predict whether Hulu will cancel or renew Harlots for season four. This is one of those series that gets some critical acclaim, but seems to otherwise fly under the radar. Without statistics, it is difficult to hazard a guess, but since this wasn’t promoted as a “final season,” I think a renewal is more likely than cancellation. It took four months from the season one premiere to a season two renewal. The third season was picked up just two months after the second debuted, so if good news is in the offing, it seems likely to come within a few months. Since that’s just speculation, I’ll keep an eye on the trades and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free Harlots cancellation and renewal alerts.

Goodness if they don’t renew this show it’ll be another extraordinary show lost into the great abyss of wonder. There isn’t anything like it and it brings the topic of sex workers into a different light, a different way of thinking. Because the lost of one intriguing, amazing and sassy character, I think they should find another that could bring the show back into the same feel as season 1 & 2. I LOVE Harlots! I am a late comer (haha) to the show but am absolutely enthralled. We want Season 4! I know Samantha Morton is busy with The Walking Dead as Alpha, but on Harlots, her character has just returned back to America, so it’s doable. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Love it! Harlots gets 10 or if 10 stars! The writing, casting, acting, historical content, costumes and the drama. I hope it gets even more seasons.
We simply must have a season 4. Harlots is one of the best series I have ever seen, and I am dying for more–much more!

I would probably be devastated if HULU did not renew Harlots. I will discontinue my subscription because I watch other apps, but this one is specifically for Harlots. Can’t find that anywhere else. This is one of the best shows that HULU has….
I fell in love with all of the good bad and the ugly of this series! The development of each character is perfect leaves you to want more but you never feel that something was lacking in the story line. I’m thrilled to see a fourth season is in the works. I find myself t talking in their cockney accents throughout the day after binging on a series!! Great job to all involved and thank you Hulu for bringing it back. I would have canceled my subscription had it not been renewed.
