What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC legal-thriller, How to Get Away with Murder stars Viola Davis, Billy Brown, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber, Liza Weil, and Conrad Ricamora. Amirah Vann, Rome Flynn, and Timothy Hutton have joined as series regulars in season five. The story centers on the world of Middleton University Professor Annalise Keating (Davis). Murder, deception, fear and guilt bind her to her long-time associates and students. This season, a new mystery involving one of their own will unfold, as relationships are fractured, and new secrets are exposed.

Will ABC cancel or renew How to Get Away with Murder for season six? The show has really dropped off over the years and Shonda is now in a new deal at Netflix, so do not be surprised if the end is sooner, rather than later. DO. NOT. CANCEL. Undoubtedly one of the best if not THE best show ABC has ever offered. There are too many reason for this show to continue to even list here. At least air a sixth season and wrap this nail biting series right. Then maybe add a spin-off series with some of the students.
I think HTGAWM will get another season or a least a 6 episode pi k-up to wrap up the story considering the longevity of the series the relationship with Viola Davis and Shonda Rhimes(I’m sure ABC is open to pilots Netflix passes on and its in poor taste for fans to end a show without a proper finale. This is a good show and a prestige project for the network. ABC will be forever associated with the first show for which a black actress won best drama series… To just cancel that show is disrespectful to it’s legacy.
I feel like this show should have ended with season 4 (and the ending of the 4th season was perfect for the show’s ending), but for some reason they’ve decided to make another one and it’s a mess. It’s almost unbearable to watch the same bunch of characters doing the same mistakes over and over again and getting away with everything. The Gabriel’s plotline is just boring. I keep watching it only because I’ve given this show four years of my life and I want to see how it ends. It’s a shame.
Ive read that they switch writers after season 4. Season 5 and 6 has a new writer. So thats so crazy that you noticed that with out even knowing that.
You def. nailed it Season 4 would have made a great finale.
Seriously love this show. I almost hate to watch an episode in fear of not getting. I anticipate each next episode. Please please do not cancel. I get excited about the next twist and turn.
I think this show is good its getting a bit boring in some places but always leaves you wanting more I think they should be able to get away with making one more season I think anymore will be too much and it wil start to get same though depends how this season ends

A season 6 is definitely needed for sure. This is an incredible show. It is intelligent, edgy and the performances are believable, well done and a definite A plus. There are still so many angles that could be worked. Accolades are more than deserved for this series and it’s talented and exceptional writers.
Please, please keep it going. It has not lost it’s pizazz@
