What’s This TV Show About?
A History Middle Ages drama, Knightfall tells the story of the Knights Templar. Mark Hamill joins the History drama for season two, with Tom Cullen, Pádraic Delaney, Ed Stoppard, Simon Merrells, Julian Ovenden, and Jim Carter returning. Also new in the second season are Genevieve Gaunt, Tom Forbes, and Clementine Nicholson. The series explores the secret world of these warrior monks. With the downfall of the Templar Order looming, season two focuses on themes including power, redemption, revenge, betrayal, family, and an epic war between church and state.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Knightfall averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 652,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 48% and 47%, respectively. Find out how Knightfall stacks up against other History TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will Knightfall be cancelled or renewed for season three on History? The ratings are way down but this channel has so few scripted series, it’s difficult to tell what numbers they consider to be high enough for a renewal. It’s their lowest-rated scripted series so I’m inclined to think it’s toast. I’ll update this page with new developments. Subscribe for free alerts on any Knightfall cancellation and renewal news.

Knightfall is a great show. I don’t understand why History Channel want to cancel all the great shows you already canceled the six you think about cancel the Vikings. I have three favorite shows on the History Channel one was the six that you canceled the other one is the Vikings you think about cancel and now you want to cancel knightfall. Please don’t cancel the last two great shows that you have on your Channel

Please Renew for Season 3! If it’s cancelled due to low ratings that would not be fair. It took sooo long for Season 2 to come out that I didn’t even realize it was out until the middle of the Season.

Outstanding series and I definitely would recommend a season three. Knightfall and Vikings are two of the best series offered by the History Channel
Awesome series!!!! Season 3 is a must have!! Please dont cancel this show!!!!! This is the first insight that has been widely available into the history of the Temolars. Whether its 100% accurate on details or not, there is history and education in this program. It’s an incredable show, well made, and character selection was incredable! Please keep this series going!!!

I love this series also. Just watched the last episode of second season. Amazing!! I hope they renew it. The history show Vikings will be ending after 2019 and Knightfall is just as interesting and exciting as it.
