A buddy cop comedy-drama, Lethal Weapon stars Damon Wayans, Seann William Scott, Kevin Rahm, Johnathan Fernandez, Michelle Mitchenor, Keesha Sharp, Dante Brown, and Chandler Kinney. The series follows Detective Roger Murtaugh (Wayans), his LAPD colleagues, and his family at home. After the death of Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford), Murtaugh is partnered with Detective Wesley Cole (Scott), a former CIA operative who’s been everywhere and seen everything.
The third season of Lethal Weapon on FOX averaged a 0.70 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.06 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 29% and 26%, respectively.
For the 2018-19 season, Lethal Weapon ranks in 13th place out of 16 scripted series. The series ranked 10th out of 20 scripted shows for the 2017-18 season. It was in third place in the 2016-17 season.

I loved Leathal Weapon from day 1 and watched every single episode. I knew ther moment they killed off Riggs, the show wouldn’t make it. Crawford’s character made the show what it was. It was about his and Wayans relationship, the building of it, the trust, the bond between the two and the growth of Riggs emotional health. If you take away Riggs, you’ve taken away part of the main story line. Crawford was funny, yes, but he had a way of going immediately emotional in his eyes, that would hit you to your core. Yes I would watch season 4. I Think Sean William Scott did a fine job and I enjoyed the story lines with him.

Love this show and The Cool Kids. Can’t believe you are canceling both shows. These are the best 2 comedies you have….very disappointed!!!!

Answer to all three questions : NO, NO and NO . I am glad it did not survive. Riggs made the show by killing him it ended for me.
