What’s This TV Show About?
A Hulu supernatural thriller, Light as a Feather stars Liana Liberato, Haley Ramm, Brianne Tju, Jordan Rodrigues, Dylan Sprayberry, Brent Rivera, Katelyn Nacon, Kira Kosarin, Froy Gutierrez, Alisa Allapach, Alex Wassabi, Robyn Lively, Alan Stokes, Alex Stokes, and Adriyan Rae. From creator R. Lee Fleming Jr. and based on the Zoe Aarsen book, the drama centers on centers on McKenna Brady (Liberato), a shy, popular high schooler, whose twin sister, Jennie (Liberato) is deceased. When a new student, Violet (Ramm), introduces McKenna and her clique to a new version of the “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board” game, and the girls start dying off, the survivors must get to the bottom of the threat against them. In season two, now that McKenna bears the curse, she refuses to play the game and risk others to save herself. Violet may be her only hope.
As of November 24, 2024, Light as a Feather has not been cancelled or renewed for a third season; Season 2B debuts October 4, 2019. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership statistics, it is difficult to predict whether Hulu will cancel or renew Light as a Feather for season three. It took them about six months to announce the renewal last time, so we may be in for a long wait. The streaming service has split the second installment into two parts, so fans get eight episodes beginning on July 26th, and the second half starting October 4th. Flying blind, if the first half performs well, I think there’s a good chance that if it is renewed for a third season, that news could come around the time part two premieres. I am so over all these amazing TV series only putting out two seasons and leaving it at that. Light as a feather stiff as a board must see season 3 and 4. I mean come on this is Hulu not Netflix
I would love it if light of a feather TV series continues on and has a season three if it doesn’t continue I will be very disappointed because alot of shows that alot of people have liked always have been cancelled and I know for a fact that alot of us are hoping that light as a feather won’t end up being cancelled like alot of other TV shows have been cancelled so please dont cancel light of a feather let it continue to have more seasons.
Please don’t cancel the show. I want to find out how the twin now is taking over Violets body just to gather souls. I wonder by collecting so many she gets to live again? Or how the prophecy says until the sister is laid to rest I bet it was referring to McKenna’s body being laid to rest. Her sister wants her to join her.
I cant wait to watch Season 3!! My boyfriend and I check for the new Season to start almost every day. No please do not cancel “Light as a Feather”. We love this show.
Omgoodness my whole family is on the edge of our seats with this show (we have 3 episodes left for season 2). They have GOT to have a 3rd season!!!
i hope they make another season i really like this show but at the end of of season two jennie transfers into violets body i really hope if they do make another season that it will have the main people with the new people that are with violet.
