What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lucifer follows Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. Following a brutal murder outside of his nightclub, he starts to have feelings of compassion for the first time in billions of years and ends up helping a homicide detective (Lauren German). In season two, Lucifer and his brother (D. B. Woodside) team up to find their mother (Tricia Helfer) who recently escaped from Hell. The rest of the cast includes Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Lucifer averaged a 1.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.65 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 29% in the demo and down by 20% in total viewers. Find out how Lucifer stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.
On February 13, 2017, FOX renewed Lucifer for a third season.

Telly’s Take
This drama series has plenty of detractors but it also has many very devoted fans. Considering the ratings, FOX could have easily cancelled Lucifer last season but they renewed it. The ratings are even worse in season two but the network is continuing to have a hard time establishing successful dramas. They could have easily cancelled Lucifer this time around but they’ve renewed it instead.

LUCIFER TV SHOW I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed watching this TV show , Well written, interesting plots, The concept kept my interest throughout the show, above average acting, not sure who did the casting , just enough gratuitous nudity and violence to keep the R rating and not take away from the plot

I love this show and the fools that want it cancelled is plain nuts. I do not know where they get their rating of how many view it but I am sure that rating is way wrong from reading the other comments, I know there is 4 of us that watch it.

I have watched all of the 2 seasons and I’m looking forward to watching MORE of Lucifer. I enjoy all of the characters and what they bring to the show. So what I desire most is… that Lucifer be renewed again and again!!
It’s seems to be the beginning of a hopeless romantic story although my wife and i still haven’t finished the last 2 episodes is season 2 so our opinion is subject to change
