Contrary to earlier reports, Amazon can’t save all the cancelled sci-fi/fantasy TV series, so Netflix has ordered the fourth season of Lucifer. The TV show was cancelled by FOX, last month, but now old lucky Lu is back, presumably in black. Check out the Netflix announcement, below.
A comedy-drama which ran FOX for its first three seasons, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling. The supernatural procedural centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (German) crack cases.

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I love this show. I just hope they bring back Amenideil and we get to meet Lucifer’s siblings.
My wife and I were avid fans of Lucifer on Fox and are heartened to see that Netflix has kept it alive. In the past, shows that Netflix has adopted such as The Killing, and Longmire, there was a definite uptick in dramatic quality in writing. I hope to see the same in Lucifer also, not that it was bad but a little adult pick-up is alright too. Fox’s loss. Now if maybe Netflix might take a look at Code Black???
Great news. This is such a fun show. Thanks to Netflix. My other top show – The Expanse – was picked up by Amazon. Seems like a positive trend that the Streaming Services are willing to pickup shows that have solid fan bases but not getting the ridiculous high ratings that Network TV demands.
I couldn’t believe it, my favored TV show canceled, with a cliff-hanger! NO!….. And now, may the Great Awards God bless you, NETFLIX.
