A reimagining of the classic television series from the 1980s, this action-adventure drama centers around a twenty-something problem-solving adventurer.
Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till) creates a clandestine organization within the United States government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives.
MacGyver’s team of experts join him on high-risk missions around the globe. They include maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton (George Eads); Patricia Thornton (Sandrine Holt), an ex-field agent turned director of operations; and Riley Davis (Tristin Mays), an unpredictable computer hacker with a chip on her shoulder. At home, MacGyver is entertained by his ambitious roommate, Wilt Bozer (Justin Hires).
Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

I look forward to Mac and the crew. It reminds me of my college days when we all gathered around the television to watch Richard Dean Anderson and his crew. The show is enough different that is has it own spin and I love it!
I love the series MacGyver. It’s the best show of all because of the actors. She is still great even though an actor has gotten ripped off. The replacement of Eads is so much better than him. So only from CBS I’m terribly disappointed because the series comes in the midseason and the 4th season has only 13 episodes. Unfortunately for me, CBS has become a channel run by really stupid people. Too bad for such a station really a pity. Because MacGyver is just an ingenious series. So glad CBS gave the thumbs up to another season of MacGyver. Great series and the only one I would never miss. Makes me look forward to Friday’s at 8:00 PM. The entire cast is highly talented and work perfectly as a team. Lucas Till is the talent that keeps the excitement level at its peak. Hope it keeps being renewed every season. Ironically, never heard of the show before, nor Lucas Till, but after watching a few episodes got positively hooked on how well everyone performs and how it keeps me wanting more. My forty-one year old daughter doesn’t like it so I record every episode for my 13 and 11 year old grandsons. The 13 yr. old loves hearing about the science related quick fixes while watching them happen along with the excitement, adventure, and fast pace. We all love the team and how the different age groups can interact so convincingly. I’ve even used the show to illustrate the importance of being able to work as a team. This show is hilarious!!! Keep this show going. Always loved the original Macgyver so I was skeptical about this one.. But boy was I wrong.. Two thumbs up.
