Manifest has some new company. Deadline reports Matt Long will recur on the freshman NBC TV show.
The drama series revolves around the passengers of a routine airline flight that goes missing — and then reappears. The cast includes Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, and Parveen Kaur.
On Manifest, Long will be playing “Zeke, a mysterious new character whose arrival triggers a new relationship triangle and upends the series’ mythology.”
Manifest airs on NBC on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

This series has potential….if Hollywood will it’s damn mitt’s off of it…as is, the drama has come perilously close to boredom, repeat storylines, lack of information, and a tendency to overplay the heartstrings, and underplay the Sci-fy possibilities. I had extremely high hopes for this show, but have been only moderately rewarded with mostly good shows, but with only one or two really giving pause to think. OMG!! Lousy show with the pace and contrived drama of a soap opera. I’m finished with it now. Hope it gets cancelled for next season.

I have never been a sci fi fan so I look atanifest as a mystery drama and I love the show. Didn’t think I would until I watched one episode now I’m hooked. Never been a big NBC watcher but they’ve got a true hit here.
Manifest is a true hit and a NBC winner.
