Simon Rich’s cancelled TV series, Man Seeking Women never earned FXX big Nielsen ratings, but it did attract some loyal viewers. Now that he’s brought his Miracle Workers TV show to TBS — a more widely-viewed cable network — will Rich find an audience there, for his new series and its marquee-name stars? Will Miracle Workers be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
A TBS anthology comedy, based on Rich’s book, What in God’s Name, Miracle Workers stars Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Jon Bass, Karan Soni, Sasha Compère, and Lolly Adefope. Tituss Burgess, Margaret Cho, Angela Kinsey, Tim Meadows, John Reynolds, and Chris Parnell guest star in the first season. The story centers on Craig (Radcliffe), a low-level tasked with managing of humanity’s prayers. Since God (Buscemi) would rather spend his times on hobbies and new projects, Craig works with another angel, Eliza (Viswanathan), to stave off Earth’s destruction by trying to answer a nearly unanswerable prayer — to help two humans fall in love.

*5/18/19 update: TBS has renewed the Miracle Workers TV show for a second season.
Yes, bring this show back for a second season, please don’t cancel it! I find it very entertaining!
SHOW IS FUNNY AND INTERESTING IT DESERVES A SECOND SEASON. THE WORLD NEEDS LAUGHTER
Love, love, love this show. Please renew it. Great casting. Interesting characters. Hilarious, irreverent, silly, sarcastic but smart.
What an incredibly weird show. But actually it is really good, albeit unusual. I found it endearing and funny in the end. I would love to see if they can pull off a season 2 now that they laid the ground work.
Please renew this show! ❤❤
Please tell me it gets renewed and for longer seasons.
Renew Miracle Workers
