William Fichtner has been promoted as a series regular for the upcoming fourth season of the Mom TV show on CBS. He plays Bonnie’s (Allison Janney) boyfriend Adam, a former stuntman who now uses a wheelchair. Fichtner played Carl Hickman during the first two seasons of the Crossing Lines TV series, which was cancelled after one season on NBC. Netflix later picked up the show for a second and third season.
TV Line‘s Charlie Mason reported the news in an exclusive. Mom season four premieres Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 9:00pm ET/PT. The series stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney.
Fichtner was last season in Mom, episode 3.19, “A Catheter and a Dipsy-Doodle,” when Adam headed off to Croatia to serve as a stunt coordinator on a film.
What do you think? Are you a fan of the Mom TV series? How do you feel about him being added to the fourth season cast?
I really like Adam on the show He really adds a lot to the show. I miss Chrissy . When is she coming back
+Ithink this is one of the best adult comedy shows EVER & everyone of the actors are perfect in their part’ I did just love Anna Farris, but, wish her well. Just for the record, I happen to be a senior, but, this is my favorite show.
He and Bonnie actually seem to belong together. Those two make this show so enjoyable, even with their arguments. It’s good casting all around, but these two are just great together. Glad he signed back on for another season.
Love the Mom show!! Love Adam, hoping he becomes able to walk, that would be wonderful!! We even watch all the reruns!! Don’t cancel the show please!! Also love Tammy!! So funny!!!
I really like the show and thought Adam was a really funny part of the series. It’s 2020 and I haven’t seen him so far, but I not sure what years he appeared & if Mom is still continuing the show or if I am watching reruns? But I am a big fan of the show and hopefully will continue to see the show continue filming new seasons in the future! Thanks, Sincerely Larry from Alabama Crimson Tide territory!
I am a fan. Love the show but they should bring back the characters that were there from the start. The kids and William Fichtner. They all made the show more interesting and believable. I miss seeing them.
