Telly’s Take
The ratings have come way down this season, thanks in part to NCIS: New Orleans being moved to 10pm. The numbers are still good enough to ensure a fourth season renewal. Even if the ratings drop, the studio will still want a fourth year to give NCIS: New Orleans enough episodes for a lucrative syndication package. It will be back for the 2017-18 season.
3/23 update: CBS has given NCIS: New Orleans a fourth season.

What do you think? Are you glad that the NCIS: New Orleans TV show has been renewed for a fourth season? Would you have been upset if this CBS show had been cancelled instead?
I love this show and would hate to see it cancelled. I think it could run for several more seasons, at least I hope it will. I don’t like the fact that the female agents keep changing. Just I get used to one agent, she is replaced by someone else. It doesn’t give you time to learn about the agent’s background and their character.
I would like to know why NCIS New Orleans is not showing up in the cable networks menu guide for Tuesday. I look forward to my programs I watch and I am very disappointed that NCIS New Orleans is not showing up on the Menu Guides. Either there was a programming error on your part or the cable Networks because NCIS New Orleans is no longer on the Tuesday Menu guide. I would just like to know why and I would rather see the new episodes than the re-runs of previous episodes from 2016 and past.
I love NCIS NOLA. All the NCIS shows are great. I loved the original JAG series it came from. Of course it was canceled. But they never care about the fans. All they care about is numbers. If ratings go down because it’s in a later time slot change it to an earlier one. Now days I hate starting new series because you can’t trust them to keep it on long enough to matter. Just when you start liking it they cancel it so why bother. They other annoying thing they do is change the soul of a series. It… Read more »
First time ever done anything like this, just wanted to put my thought forward.
Love the show, always enjoy Scott in anything he does. Met him twice, what a lovely man! Big fan of all NCIS’s but this is my favourite, it is gritty, good stories, well presented, interesting settings. I’m biast though!!
Sorry that Brody has gone, will miss her.
Keep it coming please….
I loved this show but now all you do is shoot up
Everything. There is too much violence on the show now. Bring back the way it was when it first started please.
Who cares about ratings, not me. I love NCIS- New Orleans, and if I can’t watch it live, I DVR IT or got too demand and watch it. There are somany great shows on at the same time, and I am disabled. TV keeps me company, so I watch CBS, NBC,& ABC television shows that I like. If I have to watch them through the next day, I do. They keep me sane, and I love them.
I watch every week. It better then ncis la. I would be very upset if they didn’t come back
miss Brody as well but like the city mouse and Chill. really don’t like the new girl agent that much. would like more insite into Scott Bakula’s character’s old life as well as country mouses. am interested in finding out if they can rid the City of that crooked mayor without getting everyone fired.
I watch ncis New Orleans every week would be disappointed if it didn’t come one back. It better than ncis LA. I won’t watch that show. I also watch ncis.
I am glad Scott Bakula and gang will be back. How can anyone not follow “face “is beyond me. I love this show.
I stopped watching the show, when Ferlito became an agent. I personally have found it harder to watch after season 2 and couldn’t finish 3. Also the female agents wardrobes are getting more and more ridiculous. That’s how you chase after bad guys? Really? Too bad. I enjoyed the show in the beginning.
I am all for a season 4 this is a great show!!!
I love this series and my affection for it is 90% character driven. I really felt it was a much better Series with Zoe McLellan, who played Agent Brody and, unfortunately left the series “for creative reasons”. Vanessa Ferlito, who joined the cast as FBI Special Agent Tammy Gregorio, overacts and is no where near the performer that McLellan was and there seems to be a huge deceleration of chemistry among the players since McLellan/Brody left. Oddly enough, Ferlito was superior in her role on Graceland but she seems out of place and, for some reason (perhaps it’s the “bigness”… Read more »
Happy to learn show has been renewed for a 4th season but may not be able to watch any longer. The shaky camera work has gotten worse. I get dizzy and sick…not the only one.
Please renew this show and put it back at its original time slot. There is so much more room for plot and character developement and it would be a damn shame if it could not be realized.
I think you should have the country mouse and the city mouse get together as a couple. They are really hot together so work it out. I love this show. Wasn’t sure about the new girl at first but she’s ok. Just don’t let her come between the country and city mouse!
