WGN America is still pretty new to producing their own original dramas so it was unclear how bad the ratings would have to be before they cancelled a show. Now that they’ve cancelled Manhattan, we have a better idea. Will Outsiders be the second to go or, will it be renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A drama series, Outsiders is set in the rugged hills of Appalachia and follows the Farrell clan. They are a tight-knit family of renegades who have lived atop Shay Mountain for over two hundred years and are at odds with those who live outside of their community. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

I have been a “Walking Dead Fan” from day one – UNTIL OUTSIDERS came to WGN. I have watched Outsiders from first episode – and since that time – we record the show each week to keep us in touch with our favorite show – and everyone who stops over we are able to show the the show – and turn them on to it also. It is a SUPER show – and now I have read there is going to be a second season – THANK YOU WGN…….

Keep this show going it’s great, better than most other shows that are on now. Renew for season two please. And if you don’t like the show there is that button on the TV that changes the channel, use it and you won’t have to see it, and you won’t have any reason to cry about it!

WGN are promoting Underground the most and has it pulling in huge ratings but Outsiders had the first biggest ratings before Underground for the Network now it’s the 2nd biggest. If Outsiders had more publicity like Underground with the TV Aftershows like Afterbuzz etc and comments, then it would be equal in ratings but is not too far behind. Salem brings in the lowest ratings for the Network.
