What’s This TV Show About?
A scripted OWN comedy series, The Paynes stars Cassi Davis Patton, LaVan Davis, Jackée Harry, Stephanie Charles, Markice Moore, JD McCrary, Sanai Victoria, and Anthony O. Dalton. The sitcom centers on Ella and Curtis Payne (Davis Patton and Davis). He’s a somewhat brash, retired fire chief, while she’s a patient, long-suffering homemaker. Retirement isn’t all smooth sailing for them, and amidst the laughter they experience plenty of lows along with the highs.

Tyler Perry has been a successful producer for the Oprah Winfrey Network — so much so that OWN ordered 38 episodes when it picked up The Paynes to series. Since this show is a spin-off of his long-lived comedy, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, I expect a renewal. I will update this page with breaking developments. I hope The Payne’s is renewed!!! They can’t leave it with the cliff hanger!!! The Payne’s is the main reason I have the OWN Network!
Please renewed the show, they might be retired but people still need to have income coming in from other sources, so having a Laundry business is a great idea. I wanted to do that when I was younger but never put it in place. Please bring them BACK.

Please do not cancel this amazing TV show. This is a show that we need on the air. It’s funny at times but also handles tough topics like abuse. It would be a shame to lose a show like this. I will do whatever i have to do to help keep it on the air, even if that means making a petition.
