TV show description:
This crime drama follows a presumed dead former-CIA agent named John Reese (Jim Caviezel) who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Mr. Finch (Michael Emerson), who’s also believed to be dead. Their goal is to prevent violent crimes by using technology and their own brand of vigilante justice.
Finch is a software genius who has invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people who are about to be involved in violent crimes — either the victim or the perpetrator. It was originally built for the government to prevent another 9/11 disaster but found that it was predicting less catastrophic, “irrelevant” crimes. Finch built a “backdoor” into the machine so that, before erasing the “irrelevant” data each night, Finch is sent the social security number of a person about to be involved in a serious crime.
Finch recruits Reese because of his special training in covert operations. Using their combined skills, resources and advanced surveillance technology, they work outside of the law to identify “persons of interest” and stop crimes before they occur.
Reese’s actions draw the attention of the NYPD — including homicide detectives Carter (Taraji P. Henson) and Fusco (Kevin Chapman). The latter is a corrupt cop and Reese blackmails him into being a source of information inside the department.
With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that locating the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything.
Episode #103 — Return 0
Finch, Reese, Fusco and Shaw embark on one last mission to prevent Samaritan from destroying The Machine and cementing its hold over mankind.
First aired: June 21, 2016.

Person of Interest was one of the Best Shows on TV!!! It should be revived, we need more good shows, NOT this reality garbage…
Person of interest was an awesome show. I couldn’t wait until the next episode aired leaving me wanting more. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the demise of Carter. Thought for sure that her and John would become an item.
I totally agree! Career was such a great character, loved her work with the “team” Very well acted by all!
Great show, just watched it on Netflix and cant believe its over…. bad idea canceling it cbs
Please bring it back!
good show needs to be more seasons
Undoubtedly POI was/is my favorite TV show ever! I have watched every episode at least 5 times…so I guess I’m on my 6th or 7th time through on Netflix, and I learn something new each and every time, in every episode. There is so much going on, I am basically studying it now. Yes, I know what they’re going to say before they say it, but with all the text that pops up and connections the Machine makes, there’s always more to learn. My fear is that the 5G system being “deployed” presently is like Samaritan…perhaps the Machine, 4G. If… Read more »

My favorite show of all time and have watched a lot of tv ie. 68 years old. Please bring it back! Loved ALL the characters . CBS are fools!
I think it should not have been cancelled, I still watch it on netflix. CBS has made so me wrong decisions on canceling shows but has been good for netflix
agreed, big mistake for CBS on shows with a cause
Loved Person of interest! Would like to see more
Loved it, should not have been cancelled.
Loved it, for Michael Emerson when it was weak and for itself when it was going strong. I was sorry to see it end. I think it’s a strong enough concept for a reboot with new characters in a decade or so — but who could replace Finch, Root, or Shah?
